This was our first visit to Cassidy’s Hotel and we were not disappointed. Our room was spotless, comfortable and quiet as requested. We will definitely return. We went to a play across the road in the Gate Theatre…”The Pull of the Stars”… it was brilliant… a must see.

The location was great for our first night in Dublin as it was near to a great number of excellent restaurants and nice traditional pubs with a variety of music. The hotel is quite elegant and lovely. The room were very comfortable and perfectly clean. Staff were great. Thank you.

There were a few things in the room that didn’t work, the coffee machine wasn’t very good, there wasn’t a remote control for tv, the reception brought us one straight up to the room but we had to turn the tv off at the wall as the remote wouldn’t do it

The communal areas were really clean but our room was a bit grubby in places! The duvet cover came off my daughters duvet and the duvet was stained!

Really well located. Food in the restaurant is really good.. breakfast is really nice and great value at €13.. staff pretty good.. particularly Evan who made us feel really welcome!

This was our third time staying in Dublin but first time at Cassidy’s and also the first time breakfast wasn’t included. Our first breakfast was comped due to it being our anniversary but honestly if it wasn’t free it wouldn’t have been with the €13 a person. There was no AC which is expected for an older building but the windows that opened were small. They provided a small fan which helped but still woke up sweating. The reserved parking was a little tight but manageable for an experienced driver and only costed €12 a night but needed to be booked in advance.

It was a very beautiful building with spacious rooms and a large bathroom. The bar was well stocked with what you would expect at an Irish pub. The bed was very comfortable and the staff was pleasant and attentive. The location was perfect since we didn’t want to stay in South Dublin but was still close enough to all the main tourist spots.

Might need to change the old and thin windows and also refresh the bathroom/shower room to provide a bit more water pressure

There was a smell of stale cigarette smoke in the room 222 which we reported to reception. We were reluctant to move rooms after we had unpacked so we left the window open which reduced the smell.

Breakfast was very good. The cost was not included in the price we paid but we decided to book breakfast for the 3 days of our stay at a special rate of 13 euros. We had one evening meal in the hotel restaurant which we both enjoyed.

Water pressure and hot water in shower was an issue. Parking wasn’t that great. Hard to get in and out of.

The staff on the bar did not seem to know how to make the cocktail specials - I am not sure if this was to do with a lack of training, experience or confidence. The bathroom towels were quite small.

Breakfast was outstanding, the staff were very efficient and the breakfast was excellent quality. The room was quiet and comfortable, bathroom clean. Location and price were an added bonus.
