Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

At first glance the hotel looked a little dated, but once you start looking you realise how much character there is in every room. It would be a shame if it were changed in reality.
We booked this stay last minute after some horrific weather made us cancel camping. What a gem to find! The service you get here is completely not what we expected, absolutely amazing. And like other quests say, the food is truly incredible! This became an unexpected highlight of our trip, and definitely the best service and food out of the whole 6 weeks.

One of our group had a single room which was on the small side. It was good value for money however so they thought it was fine. There was also a hiccup where I was charged the full booking before staying but it turned out that was a 1 night deposit for 3 rooms. Just bear that in mind if you are booking for a group for 1 night as the booking.com receipt suggested we would be separately billed at reception. Apart from that, nothing to complain about.
We stayed in a courtyard room after a 2 day trek in the McGillycuddy's Reeks. We loved the room the location and especially the food, which was excellent. The courtyard rooms were recently renovated and very comfortable. These rooms appeared better than 3-star but the price was a significant step up from the regular "double" room. The food in Rozzer's Restaurant is wonderful. Great ingredients, well presented. I had chosen the hotel based on reviews of the restaurant and wasn't disappointed.

Our room was directly above the bar. Some people get very noisy after a few drinks. All other rooms are away from bar.

The weather
Welcomed prior to check in time with tea in lovely lounge. Given umbrellas corkscrews anything we needed Dinner excelled expectations so did the varieties of breakfast choices. Chef is top notch. The Hotel grounds are beautiful and nearby views overlooking the Killarney National Park are spectacular. Room was clean well furnished newly renovated bathroom. Highly recommend this charming hotel.

The towels were a little small. Our room overlooked the smoking area and there were some very loud smokers!
The staff were lovely and friendly and really efficient. The food was absolutely amazing. The room and bathroom were great, the bed was very comfortable. We had an amazing time, thank you so much.
