The only downside would be that the walls are a bit thin, you can hear guests flushing toilet from the room next to yours. It didn't bother us much though.

We only stayed 1 night. Liked the kindness of the staff, breakfast is abundant, quiet location.

I love everything about this property. Andrew is an exceptional host and his team are very polite helpful amd friendly. The Saratoga must have the best chef in the Waterford area. The food is succulent and fresh. Not to mention the breakfast, absolutely gorgeous. The beach is only a few steps from the property. If you are interested in catching the early morning sunrise or sunset this is the perfect location for it. Been to the Saratoga many times. Always look forward to going back. 5 star 🌟

No handrill on the 3 steps as this could cause a fall Car park was very gritty which went in the sandals and under the shoes to which went into the car or into the pub.

Bedrooms were excellent, so was the bar. Staff were brilliant plus the cat.

The Saratoga is a beautiful little pub a comfortable drive from Waterford. It is "in the country" so to speak. We loved it - the staff treated you like family, were super friendly and helpful. The room was great and the breakfast superb. We wouldn't hesitate to return if we were back that way. Recommended.

I like everything about the Saratoga. The staff are friendly, welcoming and will go over and beyond to accommodate any needs you may have. Andrew the manager is an exceptional host. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable. The bar is warm and inviting and the food is outstanding thanks to their amazing chef. Breakfast is 10 / 10. Music at night on the weekends. If travelling on your own you will not be lonely. The locals are very friendly. The beach is only a stone throw from the accommodation. Great for long walks in the evening and you will not get a better view of the sunset. 15 minutes to Waterford city. 10 mins to Dunmore East. I am very blessed to have found this hidden jem in Ireland 🇮🇪. If I could rate the Saratoga 6 stars I would. Looking forward to my next stay already.

The water in the shower wasn't too hot, as l am sooo cold blooded😍. The staff promised to give me breakfast at 09:00 as per request but only opened the door for me at 09:30, this delayed my trip back to Killarney 😞

I was pre-warned that the boiler was having issues, so getting hot water would be an issue. I was told how to ensure hot water would come out of the tap, but couldn't get it to work. However, considering the renovations they are undergoing following a flood that damaged their property, I was understanding of this.

Great value, and lovely clean, new room. Staff very friendly too! They also reduced my bill as I was leaving too early to have breakfast!

Very little - lovely spot. Didn’t get wifi password but also forgot to ask for it. Be mindful of quiet, unlit roads nearby if driving after dark.

Breakfast was promised to be at 9am, no sign of any staff on the premises, so left without it. I was to be emailed a receipt for my stay, which even after sending a email requesting it I am still waiting.

Such a comfortable room with the gentle sound of the sea very soothing in the background. I had a lovely walk along the beach and a very relaxing night. I will stay again. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Couldn't fault it

This was not my first stay.. I absolutely love staying here. It is one of Irelands hidden gems. There is nothing i can fault about it. The rooms a very clean and cosy. The good I'd to die for and the staff are incredibly friendly. The beach is only a few meters away. Very safe if travelling on your own. This is a 5 star 🌟 hidden gem for me. Already book another stay.

Some soundproofing between our room and the room next door would be beneficial for both parties in the different rooms

The room we booked overlooking the sea was what we had hoped for with a small seating area to sit and watch the view. Lovely double shower.

Lovely location, Excellent meals and a great Irish Breakfast. Staff could not be more accommodating. Would have stayed another night but unfortunately Hotel was booked out. Would definitely stay again.

Andrew is a fantastic host & Sharon makes the BEST breakfasts! If we ever make it back to Ireland again from Canada we will definitely be back to The Saratoga.

They did run out of breakfast items on our last morning, but we still had a good meal,just different.

The staff at the Saratoga were extremely nice and helpful. Andrew even drove us to Dunmore so we could spend a day without driving.
