    Can't think of anything!

We had a wonderful stay and Theresa and Eugene were so accommodating and such a pleasure, we felt like were family. They took care of all our needs and had lots of good information to share, The room was comfy and well stocked & Theresa's breakfasts were wonderful and plentiful, she thought of everything. We would definitely go back in the future and highly recommend their home for a lovely country stay near the mountains and just up the road from the Gap of Dunloe.

Absolutely stunning location in the foothills of the Kerry mountains - beautiful view to wake up to every day. Handy 15/20 mins drive into Killarney and Kilorglin about the same distance. Theresa and Eugene were brilliant hosts, so friendly and welcoming. Delicious breakfast and cosy homely rooms with all the amenities you could wish for.

    It was only one night!

Thank you so much, I absolutely loved my stay! It was only 1 night but well worth it. Theresa, Eugene and their daughter are so welcoming, it really felt homely. Tea and biscuits, a delicious breakfast (eggs cooked to perfection), tips for places to go to and a very comfy bed that was much needed after a day travelling and doing a 30k cycle. The location is excellent for the Gap of Dunloe. If I had more than half a day and a car I would have gone further. It was enough time however to walk up the road, up little Strickeen mountain before going down and along to the Black Lake - beautiful, you can hear cuckoos in the valley and get incredible views. You're right by Kate Kearney's cottage for Irish music and dancing in the evening. I hear the food is good too but I only had a delicious dessert - make sure you get there before 8pm! It is a location that is best for people who come with a car. It's doable without but you have to walk from Beaufort - still beautiful though and you get to see some Ogham Stones along the way! I'd also like to add it's a great place for solo travellers.

    nothing, everything was perfect.

This was an amazing experience, the host was incredibly kind, welcoming you with a cup of tea/coffee. I had a feeling I have visited my family. They were highly supportive and recommended local attractions, helping me with the taxi, and all other questions I had. The room was fantastic, high standard of cleanliness, and everything was perfect, location was fantastic, and the area was at the beginning of Gap of Dunloe. For sure, if I come to Killarney, this is the place I will stay. I highly recommend you to stay at Wayside B&B. Suzana

We were happy with our decision to stay here especially being so close to the Gap of Dunloe.

The room was small and there were no luggage racks. The window sill shelf and dresser did provide space to put things. The shower had to be turned on/off outside the bathroom with an "eco mode" that was freezing cold.

Home and room were clean and quiet with EXCELLENT hostess. The location by the Gap of Dunloe, which wasn't even on our original plans, was FANTASTIC. The Gap with waterfalls, quiet, and sheep turned out to be the highlight of our trip.
