The bed was not particularly comfortable. The mattress just felt unforgiving and lumpy, the bedding needs to be updated, pillows are super flat, sheets scratchy. The room cannot cool down- there is no air con. Nothing that can be done about this one but I could hear other residents through the walls and out in the corridors.

Staff are super friendly and professional, ample parking in the lot, and the hotel is located a short 40 minute walk from Ennis town. The grounds themselves are well kept and very quiet. Room had an iron, ironing board, hairdryer and kettle (fully kitted out). Excellent water pressure in the bathrooms, which are kept very clean. Complimentary bottled water was provided and refreshed each day.

There was nothing I didn't like.

I was very pleasantly surprised by my experience in this hotel! From the very first point of contact at the reception the staff exuded friendliness! I had the salmon at dinner - which again was very good! The following day I hade the chowder for lunch - exceptional! FYI I am a pretty accomplished cook. The gym had full olympic bars and a great range of dumbbells to meet the needs of a regular gym goer. Pool, sand and steam looked great - I didn't have time to use them as I only stayed one night. Breakfast was great - lovely coffee - Yeah - I recommend this hotel!

We had dinner in the new refurbished restaurant, service was excellent, food even better. The room was clean and comfortable. All staff were a pleasure to deal with. Breakfast in the restaurant next morning was good and the coffee was great.

Nothing. Exceeded my expectations by a long shot. My first time staying there and I hope to do so again.

A great place to spend a few days which is near to Shannon airport. My room was very comfortable and warm despite the horizontal rain and storm like conditions outside. Obviously, December in Ireland is somewhere a lot different than say Cancun in Mexico. The weather can be real rough in Ireland. At that time of year though most folks are tied up with the whole Christmas hype and just get on with it. They had a blazing fire in the lobby. The breakfast buffet is top class. Each morning I got stuck into the fried mushrooms, the scrambled eggs and of course Irish white pudding. That'll get you going.
