Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PolandThe old man at the reception wasn't friendly and welcoming at all. My flight arrived at 4am and I arrived at the guesthouse at 6am but he was very reluctant to open the door and he was very rude. I don't know if he was the owner of the place or not, but I think a better customer service should be given. The young man I found at the reception at check out was really helpful.
The location is beautiful, very close to the beach and there's a supermarket around the guesthouse that open 24hrs. I like the place with the small garden in the guesthouse.

United KingdomThe room was very small and so it was quite hard to fit in my luggage and find space to unpack. There was little natural light because to open the blinds would allow passers by to see in the room. There was also some items from a previous guest in the room (a used towel and some food).
The hotel has a very good location close to nice beaches and touristy areas for dining. It is also accessible from the central train stations by bus. The staff were helpful in giving guidance. There was a tv, fridge and kettle (no tea, coffee or cups though).

I didn't have breakfast included. The room is quite small, the bathroom too. But that's it, you get what you pay for. Tel Aviv is very expensive, this hotel is a good option if you are traveling on a tighter budget. The location is perfect.

FranceBreakfast is not offered at the hotel but at a nearby cafe. In that cafe the service was not friendly and took too long. It is normal to wait for breakfast if you are a cafeteria customer, it is not normal if you are a guest, checking out and on your way to the airport. I waited almost half an hour and only get a couple of coffees. The rest of the breakfast was never ready because the priority was to serve the cafe customers and not the hotel guests. I did not expect the room to be a mezzanine. It was very uncomfortable because I also have a sprained foot. Going up and down the stairs to go to the bathroom is very uncomfortable. The hotel was difficult to find. The location is wrong on google maps so I was sent to another point in the city and it took me almost two hours to get there from the airport because I didn't have internet to be checking bus schedules and the Booking page. It would have been easier to get there if the location had been correct on google maps.
Everything was new and very clean.

GermanyVery small basic rooms with kettle and fridge. WLAN quite good. Not so far from Carmel Market (walking distance 10 mins). I always chose this hotel cause it's not so expensive and there is a parking garage 7 mins walk away. And parking is always an issue in Tel Aviv

DenmarkIf your expecting the usual hotel experience in North America or Europe, I would say you might be slightly disappointed. The room was very small and it’s definitely an old building which you can notice (spider webs, dust, etc) Also, for the price you’d expect at least coffee in the room etc. so I would also say it’s very overpriced. at least to what I’m used to.
It was a great location very close to the beach and the staff was very friendly and gave us plenty of tips on things to do and how to get around.
