Expensive for India standards as far as we discovered but Mumbai is one of the most expensive city in the world to live in, so it's totally understandable 🙏

The owner is very friendly and helpful. The comon area is small but has all the equipment you need, including filtered water. Would be great to have a couch or lounging space but i think there is no space for that. The apartment is in a very nice neighborhood with lots of shops and restaurants around, easy to walk around. Great place to stay to visit Mumbai. Close enough from the sightseeing spots, we took taxis to go visit the southern part. You can walk to the sea shore to enjoy the sunset.

Great space that’s in a great area to walk around and explore. Easy access off the road for getting taxis, which was great when loading/unloading luggage. Lots of space.

The slight negative related to its location, as it could take to 45 to 50 minutes to travel by Uber to South Mumbai (train station/Gateway to India) where we spent a significant portion of our time sightseeing. This is because Mumbai traffic can be very busy and train options are limited until Metro opens. That said, I would still book again and accept this, as on balance staying at The Apartment was great!

"The Apartment" is a great ‘home from home’ when staying in Mumbai. It has everything you need both in the Apartment and within the surrounding area to have a relaxing stay. There is plenty of help and information available from the host who went out of his way to accommodate us with room upgrades and we had a great time staying there.

Great and central location, so accessing south and north Mumbai was easy. Ajay was very responsive and helpful and allowed us to check in early which was great. also provided great recommendations of places to see.

As for the location: formally and geographically it IS the center of Mumbai, but it takes quite long to travel to the Gateway, the Fort and other historic places in Colaba (approx 30 minutes by taxi by night - no traffic; 60 minutes in the evening due to the traffic). Yet, it is rather close to the biggest malls of Mumbai. The beach nearby is really dirty. Don't waste time visiting it.

The apartment is really spacious, clean and rather comfortable. We checked in quite fast. The landlord gave us several recommendations on sightseeing, transportation, etc. IThe apartment is a room in a bigger flat with a shared kitchen full of necessary stuff. Our room had a separate bathroom, all facilities worked fine: hot and cold water, AC, tea-corner, a fridge, etc.

Stayed for 4 weeks. It became home. Everybody was always helpful and smiling. Neighbourhood was good too. Shopping was close by, train station as well.

The bed could have been softer, like my bed at home. But even that wasn't an issue after a few nights. Didn't like leaving..

The location was just perfect and it felt like home on the third day. Ajay and team helped with every question I had. Learned to appreciate indian cuisine and how to cook some. Made new friends and will stay at Ajay's every time I come to Mumbai

Everything was perfect about our stay. The apartment, location, space, and the owner. This was a family trip, and we felt very comfortable and safe in and around the area. I recommend this. It exceeded my expectation, for the first time traveling in india, I came across this europe quality accomodation. Very clean, without mosquitos or bad smells as in other stays particularly in Mumbay. Host is very helpful and even cooked non spicy dinner to my daughter :)

Had a great stay. Great location. Helpful owner. He helped us in getting an early check in. He also allowed us to make tea in his kitchen. Rooms were clean and spacious.
