This place is special. Beautiful, tranquil and relaxed. The setting is perfect. Beautiful views from the verandas. Everywhere and always the sight and sounds of birds and animals. From our veranda we saw spotted deer, mongoose, eagles, turtle, sunbirds, peacocks and so much more. The food was amazing. Inventive mixes of flavours, perfectly cooked and generously served. The hosts are very friendly, welcoming and interesting. The staff are great. A great team. One of them took us out for early morning and late afternoon birdwatching walks that were great. And it’s right next to the Bandipur reserve so very handy for safaris. We planned to stay two nights but just had to stay one more. You could easily spend a week here and still be reluctant to leave. I totally recommend this place. Go. You’ll love it.

Much as we loved the fridge & cold water in the bedroom, would have appreciated a kettle & teabags.

A great place to stay for a safari tour. And hugely enjoyed our nature tour with Girish the first afternoon, who is very knowledgable. Sensational meals - plenty of choice - and most of the vegetables home-grown. A very friendly atmosphere; Karthikai & Ingred have created a very special & luxurious home-stay.

The property is beautiful and the food exceptional. The team were very helpful and went out of their way to arrange our safaris and drive us there.

Given the price of the accommodation and the meal,the food spread could have been more diverse.

Dhole’s den is a wonderful property located in the wilderness that provides a sense of serene and calmness.The entire stay felt like being close to home stay even being away from home.The one thing that really amazed me is the food prepared from freshly cultivated vegetables that is delivered directly from the hands of farmers

There wasn't anything we didn't like. We found a nice walk through the local village a little late in our stay, so if you like to get a walk in do have a walk along the roads (away from the forest!)

We loved the location out near the forest. It was beautifully quiet. We really enjoyed bird watching, going for a few walks and seeing lots of wildlife. We went on 2 safaris away from the compound. The staff were really very generous, knowledgeable and kind. The food was excellent and very generous!

The road to reach the property is not that good, but that can be overlooked to enjoy the stay at Dhole's Den.

It is an excellent place to have a peaceful vacation; close to the nature. Hosts and the staff is vary cooperative, rooms are clean and give homely feel. Food is excellent.

This is a beautiful property and they have limited availability to ensure that all the guests are well looked after. Food and rooms were fabulous we stayed in the grand mansion and a habitat room.. was well designed with a view to the forest which was a treat

Me and my husband were looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city while continuing to work and we loved what Dhole's den had to offer.. good wifi, good food, courteous staff and a peaceful & relaxing environment..

The service of the staff is one of the worst I have experienced in any hotel till now. The homestay is not at all suitable for families with children. There is no menu for children or the staff ready to cook anything. You have to ask multiple times to get anything done. There is no room service and you will have to ask multiple times even to get the morning tea. The foods are okay but tasteless. The manager and some of the staff are courteous but most of them are careless and rude. This homestay could be suitable for couples or singles but strictly not for families with children.

The location of the homestay is really breathtaking. You can see the western Ghats range from all the rooms. The rooms are huge and spacious.

With the limited facilities, too Expensive for Homestay. (20K per day inclusive food for three members). Not Happy with the pricing. Food - Pathetic, lot of improvement required w.r. Food both quality and quantity. Should follow the timings displayed and even Milk also not available around 9AM 🤬 Discipline is missed, no proper information regarding activities. Overcharged for the safari even though its a last minute plan and weekend(10 times more on the original cost)

Liked the owner and his family, no need to mention about the Dogs 🙂
