Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

My stay was more exciting when i met their pet dog jenny, she was truly a lovable n well mannered companion. The owner is also very nice n gentle n helpful, overall i enjoyed my stay and would suggest all the solo woman traveler's to try this place as it is very safe n convenient!

a pretty decent stay if you are looking for explore Goa and not expecting any room with luxuries, clean rooms with open area around the stay.

If they improve wifi connectivity on first floor then it would be better. I was facing network issue while working on my lappy. Otherwise there is no issue. Strongly recommend to those who plan with family.
The owners are very humble and cooperative in nature. Very sweet uncle and auntie.

There was nothing which we didn't like regarding guest house. However I will recommend people not to buy anything from German bakery, situated on Calangute- Candolim road as we had bad experience there (just for tourist awareness).....
The rooms were clean, very comfortable and both George uncle and Rosy aunt were amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. They both are very nice persons who allowed us to check in early at 07 AM. We also celebrated our anniversary with George uncle and Rosy aunt which was a wonderful experience for us (Please do not buy anything from German bakery).. The guest house is at walkable distnace to main road where you will be having good restaurants and places from where you can rent a bike to explore Goa. If you will be going there to explore Goa and not any hotel, then I strongly recommend Georgedale Guest house.

fan would function only on 5th speed. I don't enjoy such windy room. No mosquito net on windows so you have to close windows throughout the night. Cupboard was there but it was not clean

The bedsheets were not clean. After check out, we have to keep our luggage in open space/veranda. Expectations, Rules & Regulations of property owners should be mentioned on booing.com website. So that only very, very disciplined persons can book the property and avoid further complications or issues.

There is just a small door between your room and their kitchen.. you can hear your voices and they can your voices even if you are talking low voice . It's quite a discomfort moment for couples.. They will come to your room to clean when you are not at all there. Our things were safe but you it's kind of not trustworthy

The staff comes for cleaning when you are roaming outside with an alternate key. No safety for your luggage at all. Even drinking water you have to arrange on your own. Overall okay okay.
