The surrounding location can be cleared so that the entire area will be good for all the tourists also.

Those who want private time to spend with the family it a good choice. When u see the entrance may be somebody will not like, but the time which we spend was nice.

We stayed in the frangipani villa which has an outdoor bathroom, best to stay in one with a closed bathroom if you’re scared of creepy crawlies. There are no amenities in the area (if you are expecting beach bars/ restaurants), but there are some resorts further along the beach within a short walk/ few minutes in a tuk tuk.

A friend had recommended this place and I’m so glad she did. We (mother and daughter) absolutely loved our time at Marari Villas. The area was an unspoilt tropical paradise, and we mostly had the beach to ourselves except for the occasional fisherman and boys playing football at sunset. The staff were wonderful and looked after us, and we particularly enjoyed chatting to Jibin after our meals. The team helped us organise a day at the backwaters which was lovely and stress free. The food was DELICIOUS. It was so nice having our private meals by the pool and to experience local home cooking. Would highly recommend their taxi driver for the journey to/from the villa.

Small thing but I think maybe a bit more info on the payment method. Everything was fine but I was a bit nervous doing a bank transfer as I was expecting to pay on arrival.

Everything. The villa is beautiful, the staff are so attentive. Special mention for Lal. The food was incredible, the pool was amazing and just what is needed in the heat. There are beaches a short walk away but we stayedin the villa most of the time because it was so nice.

Nothing we didn’t like at all and it was what we needed for our holiday of relaxation . Maybe the thing we’d suggest is some swinging chairs or a comfy chair in the covered area outside (outside bedroom door).

We were absolutely delighted with the whole of the property from its original wooden decor inside, the luxurious of the main bedroom & its beautiful bathroom. The main area was really excellent and the outside of the pool area with the hammocks, dining area was exceptional. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. All the team that looked after us were extremely welcoming, friendly, courteous, efficient and literally couldn’t do enough for us. All the service they gave us was second to none. The team all got on like one big family and that reflects in how well the place is run. We had a lovely relationship with all the team & had some really good laughs. All the food we had off the menu was delicious, with each dish being full of fresh, fragrant & excellent taste. The team did a fabulous job for my husband’s birthday with decorating the place with balloons & delivered an outstanding decoration of the candlelight meal making it so special. I was truly overwhelmed of how they pulled it off whilst we weren’t there. They helped us also with having a wonderful regular taxi driver for us which made it all the more easier for going places and he was friendly & polite. We would extremely recommend the Frangipan villa to everyone we know.

Overall, the experience was very positive but some things could be improved. We stayed five days but only once did we have hot water. In addition, the shower was a bit of a hassle. The fruit and juice for breakfast were a bit sparse. Finally, it was tricky to pay for the stay because we could not pay by credit card.

My friend and I had a fantastic and relaxing stay in Marari. Our villa was very nice with its own little garden, a pool and an outdoor shower. In the morning we went to the beach where a nice man had already set up our sunbeds and a parasol. The beach was completely empty, which felt luxurious. The staff was fantastic. Lal (the host) was very helpful and the chef cooked great food.

The location in the forest is lovelly, but there are no close amenities on the beach. We reserved this place because we thought it would be close to some beach restaurants, bars, but it was quite sevluded. Thanks to the personel we had a great time and they offered us everything we needed.

The food, chef and service personel was great, specially Lal. He made our trip and transportation to different sights locations around Kochi and Kerala so much easier.

It is not as private as they say- there are houses quite close to the property (I stayed in frangipani) and could hear people next door and if they were on the terrace they could easily see you. And there are different entrances and the staff would come in unannounced, for instance,there was a guy cleaning the pool when we woke up in the morning and no idea where he came from. The same guy came in unannounced and started cleaning the pool chairs when we were having breakfast which was a bit uncomfortable.finally, there is no direct entrance to the beach from the property,you have to walk through the village which we didn't feel very safe when it was dark.

The only fault I could find is there was chanting / singing which went on for hours one day.

We liked everything! Beautiful villa, with all possible amenities having been thought about. We only left the villa once in 2 days, for a sunset walk on the beach, as it was so lovely.

Everything about the property, the interior and comfy mattresses. Attention to detail like having flash torch, french press and bath robes, the touch of total luxury. The pool was cleaned every day. The food was authentic! 10/10 for service. Will definitely stay here again!

Food Menu Could be much better, they offer fixed menu for all days and we cant choose any other things other than what they serve on the particular day.

Staff was courteous, happy to help u through out. Rooms are neat and clean, food quality was good. Perfect for a vacation. Food prices may seem high, but with the quality they provide its worth.
