Located at UNESCO World Heritage site of Santiniketan, Nayantara Home Stay is perfect for anyone who wants to live near Visva-Bharati University campus and also enjoy the beauty of nature. Like a good home stay, the place offers you homely environment and privacy at the same time. The rooms are big enough for anyone who wants spacious rooms. The interior design matches the aesthetics of Santiniketan way of life. Kudos to the owners for adhering to this concept. The massive gardens surrounding the property is a treat to the eye. It also allows one enjoy the peaceful atmosphere which one requires after a hard day'a work. The food lives up to expectations and served with warmth. Overall, the place is perfect for work trip as well as for leisure travel.

Calmness of the place is remarkable. I liked its serenity within nature. Aesthetic of rooms and adjacent places is amazing and everyone would like to spend hours and hours in terrace and enjoying moments with oneself. This is place for those if someone practices music and want to do their riyaj.

This home stay didn't have the arrangement of food and hence one will have to rely on going out or have zomato / swiggy. Rest all are good here specially the location (of course if you like it in a little isolated, calm and peaceful area). I stayed here for a night with my family and I loved the place.

The AC in the first floor needs some attention

The ambience and the warmth of nayantara homestay is spending.Mr Nandi and his extended family always took care of all sort of our needs. We had a baby on board and Mr Nandi and all the house helpers made it sure that the Lil one should have the best time over there. The silent and green environment really helped us to come closer to the mother nature. The homestay locates in one of the prominent area in shantiniketan and also have houses of may stalwarts as neighbour (Dwijen Mukherjee, konika Banerjee, Aparna Sen and many more). Best part is in this house Bharat Ratna Pandit Ravi Shankar ji has performed and you can feel chills while you see the picture of that performance inside the house. The beds were super cosy, bathrooms were neat and tidy. The interior of the house reflects the elegance and the cultural taste of the owner and also reflects the core essence of Shantiniketan. Mr Nandi also arranges foods as per the requirement of the guests and mark my words, the foods were devine. I would strongly recommend nayantara for homestay at shantiniketan and am also planning stay there with a bigger family groups

Really large nice comfortable room with two double bed rich with ameneties. The host Mr Nandi and his family is very cooperative, warm and extremely helpful. We really enjoyed our stay !

Clean & spacious room, courteous staff, excellant home cooked food but what made the real difference was the heartwarming hospitality of the hosts Mr. & Mrs.Nandi. Slightly premium pricing for Shantiniketan but worth every penny.

Tranquil stay in the lap of nature and the hospitality of Mr and Mrs Nandi are the attraction of this homestay. A small family of nature lovers can book the family room at the 1st floor with terrace and can have a real feel of Shatiniketan's nature which is fast destructing otherwise. ..by staying there a day or two .

The dining place has scope for improvement. The walls had dampness which can be repaired.

The room was quite big for 3 of us. The room and toilet was clean and hygienic. The food was excellent. The host was a very very well behaved person. Felt completely at home.
