Check-out could be a wee bit later, although Rocky provided me with a day room at a reduced rate.

Rocky, and the team, were incredibly helpful - nothing was too much for them. I cannot express my gratitude to Rocky who even allowed me to use the office for an important work video call. The guesthouse is in a great location and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Nothing to complain about.

The accommodation Rocky Guest House is very centrally located in the middle of the small village Hampi. All cafés, restaurants and shops are just around the corner. The Virupashka temple and the ghats can be reached in 2-3 minutes walking distance. Rocky is very friendly and thankfully assisted us wonderfully in planning our sightseeing tours in the overwhelming abundance of sights here. Together with his young aide he assisted us perfectly. We had a room on the lower floor with a private bathroom. The room was quiet, simple but clean, the beds comfortable.

My room, at the front of the hotel was a little noisy (but things quieten down by about 10pm).

Rocky and the excellet team he has gathered around him are fantastic, friendly, polite and knowledgeable. The location, in the heart of the old Hampi Town was excellent, within easy walking distance of the River and Virupaksha Temple complex. The assistance provided with travel to the more distant sights of interest was also superb - thanks to the cheerful, helpful 'Eggy'. The help Rocky provided arranging my onward journey to Mysore was also great!

Rocky's on-site helper cannot speak English and has no idea how to deal with customers.

Rocky was very friendly and helpful. The location was great. I had a nice room.

There could be a place to sit at the terrace. Even though it should be silence after 10 pm other guests sometimes don't understand it and make noise even at 2am. I had proper sleep when we left.

Location is very good. Just short walk from restaurants, close to Virupaksha Temple which is visible from rooftop terrace. Room was quite spacy. Few tips for other guests. Go and try food in restaurant at the end of the street on the right, go up the stairs. It's called Archana. Much cheaper and more tasty than the restaurant opposite to Rocky. Visit temples in walking distance, Achyutaraya complex. For free and none there.

If in case guest are staying more than 2 days then they can provide a facility of cleaning a room .Which i haven't got.

Check out is very early at 9am,so we had to pay to extend (which was fine as we wanted much later, but would be annoying if you only needed a few hours}. Owner isn't always on site, and decisions have to be run past him.

WiFi was slow and quite patchy, but sufficient for communication. Our room was a little small.

Central location, could get our laundry done on premises, friendly staff, in old-town Hampi so close to all the temples. We had a private double room with private bathroom which was clean with fan.

Air conditioning didn't work.

Great little family run guest house, right in center. Lovely basic room, clean good size, only downside air conditioning not working but good fan. Helpful and friendly would definitely visit again.

Wash room and toilet not attached with staying room.. it's seperately given and sometimes need to wait to get wash room and toilet because it's like general toilet two to three room people are waiting sometimes..that can be modified..

Way of approaching was good both side..and good place too will recommend to anyone..

Monopoly of the online travel agents and check in check out time which will trouble you a lot..

Good guest house ( costly due to new year eve however those will be in 500 rupees). Shared wash room those are maintained very well. The room is like a silent room, you can't have a much gatherings if you travelled grp of people ( noise will disturb others). Only problem I'm seeing here is the Online travel agents monopoly... Nothing is bad about this place. Had very very worst stay the day before and this was like heaven for us ..
