Considering it is in Nubra valley, would have expected some place in the garden that could have been designed to facilitate unobstructed star gazing.

The fresh air, the tents in the middle of apple and apricot plants (although they weren't in season).

Gets a little hot during afternoon in summer months - a table fan should also be available.

Spacious and well-equiped tents. Polite and courteous staff.

There isn't much to do in the resort while one stays back after a tiring journey. It gets quiet deserted during the day and that's something which can be addressed by introducing few indoor activities or board games.

We loved the location, its ambience and the hospitality of the staff. Food served was scrumptious and the staff were very approachable throughout. The tents were spacious and very well maintained, rest room was hygiene.

Food was okay, but too expensive for the menu, they have. It's same every day. They could do with little change. The tents were good, but very cold. Overall, our stay was pleasant.

Their hospitality, staff. Location was a little far, but it was blessing in disguise, as we don't like crowded places. The caretaker boy, Nubu was a friendly and helpful guy. When asked,He even arranged a cake for our anniversary.

    1. The pics in the ad are a misnomer. Many of the tents were torn at places with side wings flapping wildly because of the wind and no tucking in of the loose ends. 2. The camp is in sumur in a small village with little population and practically no facilities. So pls be clear to expect only the basic existence in a tent. In case you are looking to visit Nubra valley, pls look for Hunder while booking accomodation at booking.com. 3. There was zero occupancy when we reached in the evening. The only staff available was one boy who seemed to be clueless about what was available in the camp. There were a few tents in two rows. He was candid enough to tell us that we could pick up anyone from tent number one to four as others were not in a good shape. As per him tthe camp was expected to become better as and when the occupancy increased. So we were plain lucky to open the season for them! 4. There was no electricity and he again could not tell us if there will be any or if there is a generator back up. All he said was that since we were the only ones so he will check with the owner about what to do with the power supply. The time being dusk the tents were pitch dark and we were asked to use out cell phone torches till he sorted the electricity issue out. 5. No food available as again he said he will ask and tell us what could be cooked and given. 6. Staying in back of the beyond with little or no response was certainly not a good idea. We had paid an advance of 1000 rs, which we decided to forego and drove down to diskit valley which was an hour's drive and had a much more liveable with a better hotel with more responsive and happy staff, better rooms, hot water and a beautiful view newr the diskit monastery. Most of all the staff were certainly more interested in treating their customer with respect and were not about pocketing the advance and then switching off from the responsibility after that. 7.

Nothing. Was a deserted place with no occupancy.
