The ONLY and just a little problem was with fire detector in one of the bedrooms shortly beeping from time to time at night, but we reported it when leaving, the problem should be solved already.

We are family of 5 and the cottage is spacy, well equipped, modern and very comfortable. We arrived very late, but it was not problem at all, everything was ready and prepared. We have received very useful and exhaustive load of information prior to our arrival, thus everything was very easy for us. I really appreciate an efford in waste sorting, everything was clear and super-useful. There is a number of basic foodstuff in the cottage, so you don't need to buy everything from a scretch. We also appreciated the dryer, very useful in October!

While the location worked well overall, the cabins are in close proximity to a somewhat noisy road. This was a mild annoyance, but there's not much the property owners can do about it.

Very clean property with an attentive host. Great overall location in relation to the South Coast and the Golden Circle.

We struggled with the recycling instructions.....

We had a great experience, and we felt like every need was provided for with care and attention to details. The facilities are very clean, sleek and homey. We had a wonderful stay, could easily cook dinner and do laundry, everything in the house gad instructions and explanations. We struggled a bit with the 7 different trash bins, but it was worth the great experience in the cottages.

Bathroom door and some windows' hinges could use a bit of oil because they were squeaky when opening/closing, but that didn't affect our stay negatively.

The cabin had everything we needed during our stay, even for our toddler. Plenty of travel trips available! The cabin was nice and tidy, well equipped, plus had an abundant selection of spices for cooking.

The house is magical! The beds were so comfortable! The cottage was stocked with everything we could need and more! The playground on the property was so fun and we’ll stocked for our kids - and the basketball court was a nightly spot of fun! The rooms were spacious and so clean! It was five star experience and close to everything!

Not much close by - gas, groceries, etc are all 15ish minutes away.

So clean and comfortable with so many extras! Kitchen was very well stocked, board games, basketball and kid play area, comfy beds, and a washer/dryer in the unit. The location is about 15 mins from Selfoss - it ended up being central for the adventures we were going on. Loved it!!!

A little overdecorated for our taste. The waste disposal was an unpleasant affair in view of the complicated waste separation system (6 containers)in pouring rain and strong wind.

Well equiped and maintained Holiday home. We were pleased and delighted with the available cooking ingredients, all of which would have been impossible to buy. Many thanks for that!

Wow, just incredible. The accommodation was amazing. Rosa was lovely and very helpful giving us all the information we needed especially somewhere close to eat which would suit all the family. The scenery was amazing and it close to the golden circle. We would absolutely recommend and would love to go back. Thank you Rosa for helping us make the most incredible memories. And also to our lovely neighbours who knocked on our door one night to let us know the northern lights were showing and what a show it was! Thank you

I loved everything. We looked forward to relaxing at the house after our long days walking/climbing. The house was perfect. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate, beer glasses in the freezer, cooking oil, salt and pepper, spices. The house is ideally placed for driving the Golden Circle one day and the south coast the next. Easy to find and comprehensive instructions on grocery stores, off-licence … etc provided by Rosa. … and a wonderful, peaceful view.

This house was perfect for our family for three nights. Plenty of space to spread out and in a decent location for nearby attractions while still being somewhat remote. Check-in was easy and the staff were very friendly and responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

This is an absolutely perfect small home. It is one of 4 cottages on the property, which are fairly new (<10 year old) modern homes. our cottage had 3 bedrooms, 2 with queen beds and 1 with two twin beds. The dining table seats six. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking with salt, pepper, basic spices, oil, vinegar and soy sauce. Coffee, sugar, creamer and tea were supplied as well. There were extra towels we used to visit the nearby Secret Lagoon (a public geothermally-heated pool, the oldest in Iceland - which also rents swimming suits, FYI). Overall it was a fantastic accommodation! Thanks, Rosa!

Iceland's weather! Either snow or be warm! Not the mess between the two! Sad luck for us. ;-)

We had an error code on the dishwasher the first night preventing us from using it. Contacted the owners who live on property. When we returned after a day of touristing, the owners had contacted us through booking.com, replaced the dishwasher with a working unit, and even reloaded our dirty dishes into the new unit. On the second night when internet service had been disconnected to the county by an accidental cable cut, we knew in advance because of the owners' responsiveness. They even stopped by after we got home to ensure we had gotten their message. The house was well equipped for cooking and many basic necessities one sometimes forgets to pack when traveling.

Well, if there is one accommodation we were looking forward to returning to every afternoon, then it is definitely this one! What a fantastic spot, bright and cosy cottages and equipped with about everything you will ever need for your stay. We used the gas bbq, the boys were really happy about a playing field where they could play basketball, we watched the beautiful sunsets right from our living room window and were listening to the wind during a stormy night. Rosa is fantastic, friendly, helpful and provides you with a lot of valuable information. Thank you for your hospitality, Rosa, and we will definitely be back!
