As others mentioned, there were steep stairs and an uneven walkway which were difficult to get through with luggage. The shared kitchen could be better equipped and organized.

Flexible owners. They are still building this place up for better, yet the triple room we stayed was clean.

Not a negative for me, but be aware there are a couple of flights of stairs to climb to get to the guesthouse (though this then affords you some great views of Wadi Musa and surrounding area).

Great location and really comfortable stay. Everything you need and more. Also recommend signing up to the home-cooked dinner and (huge) packed lunch for a day in Petra. Good WiFi and easy parking on the street outside. Saddam was a great host, would definitely stay again :)

Very close to the entrance of Petra, this guesthouse offers great beds and clean rooms. We were positively surprised by the accommodation after taking the public stairs from the main road. Saddam is continuously improving/expanding the guesthouse; when we were there he was making the roof terrace winter proof. They offer breakfast/lunch boxes for your Petra trip and can provide a authentic dinner if you let it know upfront. He can give you tips for restaurants or a good local super market as well.

The guest house is up on the hill,need to walk up high.not suiatble for large luggages. Constrution noise from above apartment on 6-9pm.

The host is super friendly and helpful. We picked us up with his car when we could not find the place and offered free laundry service (which was very nice after 6 days of camping). We enjoyed a lovely home cooked meal. Very central location; 10 min walk from Petra entrance.

Quais was very helpful and flexible with breakfast and dinner times. The food his mother made was very nice. The location is very close (walking distance) to the entrance of Petra. The location is up some steep stairs on the hill, so not suitable for everyone.

This place was incredible! It is fairly new, and it shows. The place is immaculately clean. Like, shiny clean. My room was spacious and super cozy -- very comfortable bed. The best part: the hosts are so kind! Super welcoming and helpful. Very knowledgeable about the area and about Petra. One of the hosts is a tour guide. I got a nice welcoming drink. They also offer breakfast, lunch box, and dinner, made by their mother just up the street. I only had the dinner, but it was DELICIOUS. Some of the best food I've had in Jordan. Also, the location is a short walk from Petra just off of the main street. I would absolutely stay here again, especially for the value!

Very clean, great position, and with all the comforts. The staff is incredibly welcoming and really cares about your wellbeing, offering you homemade breakfasts, lunches (lunchbox included) and dinner (recommended). For enjoying the after dinner they even have a terrace with a beautyful view where they offered us shisha and local sweets (on the house).

The parking was a bit of a challenge. The hosts could give more specific details for parking and to call them upon arrival for help getting the luggage up the steps.

The air conditioner in the room was great after a long day at Petra. The meal we ordered from the owners was delicious. We enjoyed our stay and had a good night of sleep.

Location is great once you find it - a short walk downhill to the Petra visitors center. Parking was a bit tricky at first, but no problem once you realize it’s perfectly ok to park on the sidewalk! Don’t be intimidated by the steps up from the street, and if you have trouble finding it, remember to stay left at the top of the first flight of stairs from the street and just look for the blue painted signs showing you the way (they’re everywhere from the street to the top). The room was cozy and well-equipped - perfectly fine for our party of three with minimal luggage. AC worked very well. Absolutely no complaints about the accommodations at all. We requested bagged lunches, and they were amazing for a day trip into Petra - plenty of snacks for a nearly all-day hike. Khaled is amazingly hospitable and kind. He was always available via WhatsApp to answer any questions, and he provided great advice and contacts for a trip to Wadi Rum. We left behind a couple of small items, and Khaled was kind enough to keep them safe until we could return to collect. We would definitely look forward to staying here again.

Great location and absolutely good value for money. The host was very welcoming and flexible regarding arrival time and breakfast. He helped us with everything we asked for and even recommended a great restaurant nearby. We stayed for only one night but I would choose the same place again for a longer stay too, the room, sheets and towels were nice and clean, we even had coffee and water prepared in the room.
