It's a bit far from Petra

The sealed water cups that were provided were not enough for 3 people’s normal usage.

Calm environment, very clean, lovely fluffy blankets, wifi dongle availability. Very nice and good air conditioner (with heat option, we visited in December end and loved how warm and cozy the place used to get in 5-10 mins)

The room was exceptionally clean and spacious. Our host, Zaid, warmly welcomed us and provided us with detailed information about our visit the next day. He also took us on a special trail in Petra. During our stay, we had the opportunity to try a traditional meal called Maqloba. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The experience was truly delightful.

Our stay here for 2 nights exceeded our expectations of the guest house. The room was very spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed. The area was quiet so we could get a good night's sleep. We enjoyed home cooked dinner by Saddam's wife which was much needed after a long drive to petra! My wife was sick after our full day in petra and they made sure to check in on us and brought some herbal tea to help. Saddam's brother Zaid who we liaised everything with also took us horse riding with his horses to the highest treasury viewpoint at a very reasonable price. We really enjoyed the scenery and wished we could have gone for longer! Overall would definitely recommend this place considering the price, you get beautiful views over Wadi Musa in the evenings to top everything off

The room was spacious and our host was very kind and helpful. The room had parking and our host waited for us to make sure we find the place. It is super close to Petra and wadi musa so great position if you are driving!

Location wasn't the best. There is a small shop close by but that's it. Everything such as the town and restaurants is too far away, and not walkable.

We had a triple room, the room was big, spacious and very clean. Sudam the owner was very friendly and welcoming, he arranged transport for us the next day to Petra. He also arranged a tranditional Jordanian dinner for us on our last night there, which was very delicious.

This is one of these places you always look for, but are not always able to find. We liked the room which was spacious and clean. It was close enough to the entrance of Petra, and at night you have nice views of Wadi Musa because it is quite high up. What we liked most about the Petra Olive house was our host Sadam. We didn't plan to do a guided tour of Petra, but since Sadam offered to take us we agreed. We made a beautiful hike off the main route, had lovely views of Petra from above, barely saw any tourist there which is also a plus in petra. Besides this Sadam makes very good tea and is an excellent photographer. We really enjoyed this, thank you! All this for a very reasonable price (the room and the guided tour)!

You need to look no further. Zaid organised everything. Private transport from airport throughout our journey in Jordan and back to airport with same driver. Zaid, being a guide will organise your trips at Petra at backdoor entrance or tailormake it. Excellant breakfast and dinners prepared by Saddam's wife. Saddam and Zaid tended to all our needs. We liked everything about Petra Olive House! But just so you know - if you're driving around Wadi Musa, you'd better know how to drive a car up and down a hill!

We loved everything at Petra Olive House! The host, Saddam, is a great man with a lovely family. His little boy was waiting for us when we arrived and showed us inside. His wife cooked the most delicious breakfasts, and he even gave us some zaatar to take home with us when we told him we liked a condiment that we had never seen before. The place is positioned in a very quiet neighborhood and has a lovely garden downstairs. It's about 7 minutes away by car from both downtown Wadi Musa and Petra, which for us was perfect.

I am not a big fan of the Jordanian way of using a throw only (no blanket, no quilt). I don't think these get washed after everytime someone sleeps there, at least that's the feeling I got.

Location was pretty good, away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. Please note that you need to have a car though, it's too far to walk from the Petra Visitors Centre for example. It looked pretty new and very clean.

The room is modern, spacious and nicely decorated exactly as in the pictures. The manager was very attentive and provided helpful tips for transportation, restaurants and cafes. Overall a great stay. Good if you have a rental car as it is up the hill in a quiet neighbourhood.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The house itself is worth staying in because it’s clean tidy and the location is 3km far from Petra. On top of it all the owner Zaid made the stay much better with is involvement in offering us the most local experience of the place and we felt like home. We had home made local dinner in the house prepared by his family. He also offered a private tour to Petra avoiding the tourists trail and we highly recommend booking the tour with him.

The only thing was that the blankets didn't have covers, besides that everything is perfect!!

Perfect to spend a few nights near Petra. The host family is very very generous and helped us with everything. Even organized us a tour in Petra a few days later because it was raining very heavily the night we slept there. Beds and bathrooms are comfortable! We highly recommend sleeping in Petra Olive House and taking a tour with them!
