The resort is far from everything, so you need a scooter to get around or be stuck with whatever they offer in their restaurant. I also found that it was a bit more expensive to rent a scooter than other places.

Even though it says it on the website, be aware the rooms are bungalows that have lots of open spaces for bugs. There is a mosquito net for around the bed though and they provide free bug repellent spray.

Right on the beach, everything is a few steps away. Both the staff and food were fantastic, and they have a guest pass system for payment which avoided having to try and sort out cash each time we needed something. Everywhere you look was picture perfect and so relaxing!

Always trying to get more money out of us. They weren’t transparent through the booking process so had to pay a 5% online fee. Any recommendations around the island/how to get to our next location weren’t great. The price they quoted us was double of what we ended up paying to get to our next place. They don’t have any water refill which was surprising as it meant we were using so much plastic. The food was okay, bread was lovely but everything else a bit half hearted. (They wanted to charge extra for putting butter ontop of toast) They also didn’t message us with information about the booking/how to get to them/how much taxis were until the day we were travelling to them.

Very secluded and nice area if you want to relax and stay only there for a few days. We were also able to swim out at night and see the luminous plankton by ourselves. Great system for paying in a group! We were able to have two tabs and pay at the end of our stay.

We had to leave on our last day.

This is a beautiful place for the young as well as for the young-at-heart. Charming (with a pinch of salt😀) Dutch couple who own the place and wonderful staff, always smiling and warm-hearted. Bit of a hostel flair, though comfortable, clean and welcoming in every respect. Take the slow ferry straight to the resort, don’t take the speed boat, much more complicated journey.

Upon arrival I was met with a $2 cocktail happy hour that lasted for about 8 hours 😂 it's not a party beach, people socialised and kept themselves in check. Very laid-back and easy. The staff were all very attentive and friendly. The property itself is clean and tidy. The decor is rustic/island style with an authentic Khmer vibe to it. The beach is pristine, the sand and water is clean. No plastic bottles and drinking straws in sight. The restaurant served western and Khmer dishes. The price point was really good, not too cheap yet not very expensive. The portions and quality were excellent too. The bungalow was not air-conditioned but there's a fan which works just as well. Clean and tidy with everything someone would need for a short stay. If heaven was a real place then this would be it. Highly recommended.

We had such a perfect stay here! Beach front bungalow was amazing, you can hear the sea while you sleep. The beach front bungalow also has a shower (apparently the other ones don’t have this). Great prices for food and drink, the prawn curry was amazing and staff was so friendly. Definitely recommend the boat trip.

The Palm Beach boat was quite long, it took two hours from Sihanoukville.

The bungalows were a good size and relatively clean. The mosquito net was useful. The bathroom was a good size and the showers had hot water.

If you’re not a fan of outdoors, this might be hard for you since the bungalows aren’t air conditioned + there’s a fair amount of mosquitoes

The best getaway for a couple days - week or so. The staff is super nice and helpful. Place is beautiful and relaxing and the food is very cheap and good. Very recommended for a group of friends or couples.

Maybe a little bit overpriced compared to the rest of the island from what we saw. The bungalows are really basic, small wooden shacks - which I don't mind by itself, just paying around 40$/night seemed a bit excessive. And there was not even soap in the bathroom! If the animals make nests with soap bars or the packaging like you say, maybe a mounted soap dispenser might be an alternative. The staff seemed a bit unorganized sometimes, but overall friendly.

The location is excellent if you want peace and quiet. Just a few steps from your bungalow to an isolated, beautiful beach! The restaurant and bar area is well kept and clean. The barkeeper at the happy hour(s) is a very skilled mixologist. There is a small shop by the water. The staff cleans the beach thoroughly, so compared to the rest of the island there is almost no trash floating about. There is 24/7 electricity, which I did not expect! The main town of the island is just a 20 minute tuck tuck ride away, so you are not completely cut off from civilization if you want.

This is really is the stuff of dreams!! Paradise island, far from everything and perfect for completely getting away and switching off. Loved every minute. The food at the restaurant is lovely, drinks are very reasonably priced at the bar and the staff are all very friendly. The bungalow was very comfortable and clean and very relaxing being able to listen to the waves on the ocean as you fall asleep. The boat trip to see the bioluminescent plankton was the cherry on top of an amazing few days.

The mosquito net for our double bed was for a single bed, therefore not big enough. Luckily we were carrying our own so had to set it up. Laundry at $3/lg as steep. $1 at other places we’ve stayed.
