I didn't like the place in itself. The hostel is actually quite small: the rooms are small, there are not many of them, the shared rooms are small. It felt more like I was living in a house with strangers. I prefer bigger hostels where you have more privacy and anonymity.

My bed in the dorm wasn't prepared over the whole day, was even blocked by someone else. Fortunately there was another spare one.

We just stayed one night but the hostel was good. Smooth check in, shared kitchen well equipped, clean rooms and not very far away from metro station (like ten minutes walking if so). Recommended!

For the popularity of the place, there are limited washing facilities. You might be waiting a while for the bathroom or shower.

If the only thing I am not impressed with is that sometimes you have to wait for the others to finish the shower as it has only limited number of shower rooms. It can be a big problem when it comes to morning time and you have to check out at certain time. Apart from that, all good.

Every time I came to Seoul, this property is always a go to place for me. Not only it is located really close from the main Hongdae street where all the night attractions are, this property gives high opportunity to mingle with the other people who happen to stay here. It is easy to make new friends and hang out together in Hongdae. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, not to mention the staff working there.

Not that I didn't like it, 'cause it's not like you can change it, but maybe the bathrooms were not that enough for the number of guests when full. It's still quite clean and spacious enough!

Was planning to stay for a bit less than 2 weeks and extended for a whole month in the end! The staff is mainly volunteers also staying there, I was lucky that all of them were really friendly during the whole stay. Bosses are cool to the guest too! Bedrooms are clean, bed's matress' are hard (but it's the good hard, I liked it), kitchen is handy (small, tho). It's cool because there are 2 floors for chilling in 2 living rooms with other guests. Well located since its between Yeonnam and Hingdae, two really cool districts. Actually the street itself is full of good cafes and restaurants.

Watch your head while climbing to upper floor. When fully occupied feels bit crowded. Not the most hygienic, well maintained hostel we experienced in South Korea If you can afford to spend a bit more, select a bit more premium place

Managed by foreigner volunteers, we could keep our bags and head out. There is an Indian restaurant right opposite and kitchen facilities are decent.

Creaky beds which I think are a bit old as on mine I could feel a spring or two poking through. I also went two nights without air con, one night was due to a power it which couldn’t be helped. The second I believe the staff had just forgot, as the air con is on restricted hours. Other rooms also went without air on in the second night.

Great location in the hongdae area with many restaurants nearby.

They make you leave your backpack in the common area instead of the room, due to space issues. So I doubt you could store anything there.

It's cheap and in a good location. The wifi is fast. The woman at check in knew a lot and spoke English, so that was very helpful for trip planning. The beds have curtains for privacy.

The location and value for this hotel is great. The staff are very nice and helpful - staying up late to help with my late check in.
