Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ItalyI had problems to set up the heating, it was a bit cold at night (in March) - but my friends in other room, had the opposite problem and the room was too warm.
Excellent price/quality. It was well located in the city center, close to attractions and around 15 minutes walk to many points of interests in Busan (fish market, Biff street). It's great and I would come back again.

United KingdomThe room was a tad dark with no view, but we knew this in advance. Lack of space to hang things up.
Really liked staying at Elysee Hotel, as it had everything we needed at a great price. Beds were comfortable and the shower was powerful. The room was a good size. WiFi was available, but we used our own. Private parking was available right outside reception and there was always space for our large car. The location was very good. Reception staff were nice.

New ZealandTwo small things. One, there were two hairs found on our first night. One in the bed and one in a packaged dressing gown in the room. The other thing was that the bath leaked when emptied, as did the shower when in use. Though they both ran into the drain in the centre of the bathroom, it just meant that the floor was wet for a wee while after use. However, neither of these things really detracted from our stay and we were still perfectly happy during our time there.
Elysee Hotel was fairly easy to access and the staff there were always friendly and approachable. The bathroom was incredible; the shower was hot and strong (perfect), and it had a bathtub too, which had an easy-to-use button to power the spa jets. The room was lovely and warm, as well as having an air conditioner to adjust the temperature if we so needed. Then floor was slightly heated and each day the room could be cleaned; which included complimentary bottles of water for the room's occupants.

United States of AmericaThe room is very spacious, but getting old. Parts of the walls are starting to break, the shower head leaks, and the bed is quite hard. The hotel is located on a small hill, so it may be harder to get there on foot with heavy baggage or traveling with elderly.
The property is located right under a staircase that leads to Yongdusan Park and the Busan Tower. It is also walking distance to several markets and plenty of restaurants and shops nearby for anything you need.

MauritiusBathroom with water spilling as no close door. The tip is to use the bathtub for less spilling instead of shower.
Very large room and very large bed. Withing walking distance from shopping areas, bus stops, metro, restaurants, convenience stores and markets. For those coming from subway, use the exit 7 from nampodong station and those with luggage, there is the lift at exit 5. It is better than from jungang station(it has a more uphill slope to walk from jungang station)

United KingdomUnfortuantely the lifts take ages especially when you are on the 8th floor. We may of waited 5-10 minutes to go up, and the stairs is not an option when you are that high. When you take a shower, the whole of the bathroom becomes wet and slippery. However they provide you with slippers so it's ok.
Spacious room and shower, the beds were very big and comfortable with plug sockets nearby and fridge in room able to keep groceries. There were microwaves downstairs and some ramen you could pay for which was very convenient. Thank you to the kind receptionist who allowed us to leave our bags so we can explore for a few hours.

IndonesiaI think the bathroom design is not sync, there is no place for towel in the shower room. The lighting is so dim, seems like gloomy.
The room is so big, and there is bath tub in the bathroom. The toilet was completed with high technology but unfortunately it doesn't work. The room is clean and complete with shampoo, body shower, conditioner, hair gel and body lotion.

NetherlandsThe hotel not that expensive but therefore is a bit rundown. Shower door could not close completely because it was stuck in the frame, bath had a leak and the (big!) TV had a partially broken display. - (But this was in the particular room we stayed.)
Nice location near a multitude of shopping and eating area's of Busan. You can easily explore the areas like fishmarket, nightfood area, underground shopping or lotte shopping.

SpainThere were renovations underway, and it wasn't very confortable. My phone and jacuzzi didn't work. I asked the person at the front desk for some directions, and she couldn't tell me. Be careful if you have heavy luggage, the hotel is located mid-slope. It is not near the beach.
Room was clean and very spacious. Bathroom was huge, with a shower AND a jacuzzi (sadly, the jacuzzi didn't work). Located very near the fish market and other shopping area.
