Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaOnly thing is the location that I have to mention but if you don't have any problem with the transportation, this won't bother you.
The hotel was built a long time ago, and yet it was kept very nicely.

AustraliaAs we had booked for two rooms for three persons, not knowing they had given a us two bedroom apartment across the hotel which they manage. The issue is, they did not provide a porter to carry our luggage across the freezing cold weather outside to the apartment block which was 100 metres away around 9pm at night. Being a Five Star Hotel I did not expect this sort of service from this hotel chain.
Quite, peaceful area location and close to freeway for transportation to city and airport, proximity towards the DMZ.

United KingdomI think communication in English is a problem and the reason why staff interact very minimally and only if they have too. Having read previous comments in the breakfast menu I decided to have an open mind. Feedback is meant to help improve the service for the next time. sadly that was not the case. The juice containers were empty, fresh fruit that was in the plate was only pineapple and a few blueberries. I also had no interaction from staff at the breakfast desk or service.
It was clean and comfortable.

South KoreaWi-Fi being charged at 20$ in a room for which the room charge exceeds $200??? In Seoul, in South Korea??? In my 7-years of travel in South Korea I cannot remember a single hotel that ever charged me for using Wi-Fi in my room. Not even the small tourist hotels near the city center do that...no idea where this policy comes from. Of course, there are local solutions to get internet access free of charge, but trying to bill this on the account of 'newcomers' to Korea is really a strange very non-Korean thing to do it seems.
Location was perfect for the event that we had to attend. Not anywhere close to the center of Seoul, but that was OK. Room was nice, good bed, small but well-stocked CU shop on site. Mostly 'as expected', with free parking on site.

KuwaitDidn’t like breakfast, didn’t like that everything was closed - gym, pool, 50% of restaurants, barber, executive lounge.
I liked the staff, location, the suite ( cleanliness was average), loved the view, the area, river, waterfall nearby, nature in Seoul is breathtaking. The convenient store within hotel. Liked the food.

United Arab Emirates- No free wifi, we are in 2023, and a facility with no wifi is super worthless! Also it was not mentioned in the website or during the check-in - VERY old version of tv, no netflix or connection to the internet! - The bathroom is so old and has no bidet - The furniture is very old and outdated, many lamps didn't work too - very expensive price, which does not reflect the value of the money - Limited access to electricity sockets - Cleaning service went from two times a week to one time each 2 weeks, which was not mentioned in the website or during the check-in
I like the location The staff are freindly

United States of AmericaThe full restaurant is no longer open. Lounges are closed or not in use. Hotel no longer provides wash cloths in rooms. I have stayed in this Hotel for many years when it was operated by Hilton (from 2010 up until 2019) and chose the Swiss Grand because it occupies the former Hilton property. I regret I was very disappointed - restaurant and bar / lounge closed, it seemed the property was only half-open. I regret I am unlikely to stay there again; I will seek a more fully operational property for my next visit to Seoul. I am really sad, as this was my go-to place to stay for 10 years, but it is not the place today it used to be.
The deli had very limited breakfast items; the old restaurant on the ground floor is closed and no longer used, a pity, We did not try the buffet.

United Arab EmiratesNo wifi connection without extra charge. No adequate dailies supplies. You need to sollicite toilet papers at a reception in a building a block away after 6pm. Receptionists are so disengaged. The building were so horribly maintained with water leaks everywhere. Several giant cockroaches were observed. No arrival supports (indicating reception area, no luggage handling supports(It meant to be a survive appart so it is natural to expect large number of suitcases). And the most importantly non of these details were communicated prior to the arrival.

Saudi ArabiaWifi is for an additional fee. Reasonable value for accommodation. If you want to stay it should only be to sleep and leave for any activity. Old antiques furniture, breakfast buffet in another building. The apartments were in another building far from the hotel building. The airport bus shuttle station was suspended during our stay.
Nearby bus station, close to some fast food franchises, you were restocked with your everyday needs at 9:00.
