Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomMaintenance requires attention. Windows definitely need cleaning, cannot look out the window. Also walls need painting at minimum!

South KoreaIt was a bit noisy, I could hear the people in the next room/floor/above me talking, or moving things in the middle of the night.
Breakfast was good. The environmental soap was great, nice idea. Not far away from the subway station, good location. Good english at the reception.

Every staff I met was helpful and friendly. Clean room, cool design. Location is great, there is a traditional market behind the hotel, underground station is near, the airport shuttle stops right in front of the hotel, incredibly accessible.

RussiaBefore check-in I've received a scary message from hotel that “guest will be required to present his own valid credit/debit card upon check-in along with a valid form of identification” and that “if the payment is done with a credit card belonging to another person who won’t be present at the hotel, we will need a written authorization send by the credit card holder...” etc. This message was sent literally three times! So I was quite nervous because at the end of the message they said “hotel reserves all rights to refuse the access of the room to any guests who are not able to show us the credit”. At the end of the day everything was good at the check-in, but those messages left a bad aftertaste. And hotels needs renovation. Shower door wasn't closing. And owners should check towels and get rid of torn ones (see photos). You should be aware that the street near the hotel is quite noisy. It was not a problem for me, but cars are heard clearly even when the window is closed. The funny thing is toilet. It flushes by its self and since shower door is not closing properly, it flushed from splashes when you shower — what a waste of water!
Controversial hotel. On the one hand the design is interesting and the price was ok (I've got last minute discount). On the other hand hotel requires renovation and I've received a really strange message from hotel before the check-in (see the second part of the review).

IndiaAsked for vegan breakfast. But was denied at the first attempt. On persistent requests they could arrange the same thing everyday. So, I skipped the breakfast they offered. When the booking was made, it said "Pay at property". However, they wanted to charge a prepayment on my credit card a week prior to my check in. This does not particularly qualify for "Pay at property" as per my understanding.

RussiaMajority of the hotel personnel on the reception knows English on a very basic level. Also I could not use hotel cafeteria after 10 pm, though I needed just a chair and a table to work, no service was needed. Also kids room was inaccessible, though receptionists could simply open it for us, but refused to do so. I would suggest you to democratize the rules for guests to feel more “as at home”.
the hotel has a uniques and very stylish design - it was a pleasure to get back there after a busy day. Nice music in the reception. Good food. Friendly staff.

South KoreaI understand Korea’s style of using comforters all year round, however I wish a thin blanket was an option as it’s too cold to really use the air con but too hot for the comforter provided. I also wish the light switches were labeled better.
Overall the facility was nice and clean. The room was in good shape and everything inside it worked.

United KingdomThe place is great. It is just a bit too far from the city. I didn't realize how big Seoul was until I got there. The metro station only accepts cash to pay for the ticket but you can get a travel card from 7 eleven and top it up in there too so like that you can pay by card. The reception is in the basement and they also have a coffee shop there and the restaurant is on the 9th floor. The soaps are soap bar, shampoo bar and conditioner bar which is kind of weird but for the people who want to save the planet from plastic will 100% adore this. You can buy from their shop extra things you need but they do change the towels daily.

JapanI had enjoyed the breakfast served in the restaurant on the 9th floor when I had stayed there several times before, and I was looking forward to it, but this time the breakfast was served in the cafe in the basement, and although it was delicious, that was my only disappointment.
The staff were all very welcoming and helpful, which made me very happy!

Hungary- Very alarming and sketchy way of charging client's bank cards! I have been charged at least 4 times, some of these were accidental, and even though I have paid when making the booking, that was cancelled on arrival and I was charged again. BE AWARE!!! - Staff is not really up to standard. One time toilet got clogged, and the person unclogging it left the toilet and the whole bathroom swimming in toilet water, basically leaving us to clean it up - Very stingy hotel. They are trying to save money on toilet rolls, soaps, etc., even if you stay longer (we stayed for almost 2 weeks) - Staff was antagonistic at every turn, telling us millions of time the hotel is non-smoking (even after repeatedly telling them that we DO NOT smoke), untrustworthy with the iron, etc.
- The location is great, has a good connection to basically everywhere in the city - It has almost all of the basic stuff needed (bed, window, toilet, etc.) - Outside the hotel looks presentable
