Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

LatviaThe fact that the pool was closed. It was advertised as a hotel with a pool but when we arrived, we were notified it’s still closed. This was very annoying as everything else in the hotel was open, so no real clarity as to why they insist on keeping it closed. The hotel should remove all references to the pool in the booking sites not to mislead people.
Really neat, clean hotel. Our room was decently sized (for Korean standards). The location also worked for us as the hotel was right next to the metro station (red line), and it was very easy to commute around the city. They have a nice gym, and also Illy coffee shop downstairs. Convenience store in the hotel was also handy to buy water / snacks. Also loved their laundry room where we could wash / dry our clothes after lengthy travels.

South KoreaThe room temperature was too warm. Typically Korean hotels don't allow much control over the temperature in the rooms but this particular hotel seemed rather stingy with the cool air. The air conditioner control in the room was only able to be set as low as 22.0 degrees but the room never got cooler than 24.5. It was too warm and we didn't sleep well.
The terrace suite was spacious and well furnished, bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was nice and the deep bathtub was a plus.

South KoreaUnfortunately, Orakai Hotel fell short for me as a coffee enthusiast, lacking a coffee machine and only offering coffee bags and a water heater pot. A coffee machine would have truly sparked my day and elevated my experience.
During a month-long work assignment, I had the pleasure of staying at Orakai and it was nothing short of exceptional. Orakai hotel provided the perfect blend of spaciousness, comfort, and hospitality. One of the standout features of this hotel is its spaciousness. Unlike the other hotel I stayed at, where I felt confined and restricted, the rooms here are generously sized, providing ample space to move around and unwind after a long day of work. The calming colors and tasteful decor added to the ambiance, creating a serene and peaceful environment that was conducive to relaxation. Overall, my experience at exceeded my expectations in every way in korea, because compared by other hotels, this was one of the most ones I felt cozy and comfortable in, from it being the spacious and comfortable accommodation to the attentive staff. it truly felt like a home away from home. Without a doubt. A plus is its location 1 minute away from the metro and everywhere is from 12 to 34 mns maximum by metro.

United States of AmericaSuper excellent hotel at a great price. Very comfortable rooms. Beautiful and clean premises. Nice neighborhood to walk for a good restaurant and close to a hair salon. You can go hiking to the mountain which is walking distance. The subway is right behind the hotel. It has its own sauna spa. Very good restaurant. Large cozy lobby. Excellent Italian coffee. And laundromat. If I can give it one more star I would.

United States of AmericaThe hotel refused to serve me breakfast, even though it was included in the price they were asking me for. They said breakfast is only for two people, and because I was alone they would not serve me, but they still wanted me to pay that price. Room was noisy (could hear the TV next door, noises overhead), bed/pillows weren't comfortable, room air was dry.
The location was good after hiking Cheongyyesan.
