We stayed in a bungalow overlooking the pretty garden. it was very clean with powerful fan and comfy beds. we had a few issues with the bathroom but these were quickly sorted following our feedback. it was a bit noisy as there are some building works going on. it was lovely to have breakfast at the restaurant overlooking the river! we arranged an afternoon tubing through our host and it was brilliant and very good value!

The bed was pretty uncomfortable, and the room is also very dark. It would be nice to have an electrical socket by the bed.

The location - literally the first place as you get off the boat so very easy to find. It's basic, not bad, just very simple, good for the price and good for a night.

Breakfast was a bit underwhelming and small - not one of the best we had in Laos but decent enough. The bathroom had the type of shower where the entire bathroom gets wet. The bathroom was big but very spartan - it felt like a public bathroom, but it was functional.

Comfortable and spacious room. The beds were firm and nice. I slept the best in this room than any other hotel we stayed at in Laos. The hotel is not overlooking the water, but the hotel has a riverfront restaurant where breakfast is served. We had dinner there and it was nice - the view was amazing. The hotel was quiet.

The toilet had a constant leak and the sink also leaked so the bathroom floor was constantly wet. The floor doesn’t slope enough so the water just gathers around the toilet. For the cost of the room, the bathroom needs some work.

Location of the bungalows is perfect and in a pretty garden. The restaurant is right on the river. It is right beside the jetty. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is good. The bungalow was clean.

No sound insulation at all, can hear neighbours walking/talking etc and anyone walking past. Extremely overpriced for what it is. Guesthouses nearby are nearly the same but cost less than half.

A good size clean quiet comfortable basic bungalow with porch around a lovely well maintained garden, no river view. Wi-Fi only available in the owner's restaurant overlooking the Nam Ou River with great views, 2 mins walk. Boat landing and boat ticket office 2 mins walk. Restaurants are nearby. A nice place to relax. Owner can arrange trekking.

Where should I start? The cottages are now very run-down and not really clean. Big loads of dirt in the bathroom. The bed was uncomfortable. There was only one socket, which was not near the bed. There was no bedside table on one side. No lights next to the bed. There is only one light and it comes from above and is lab white. The shower is not separate from the toilet and so everything gets wet when you shower. It's noisy at night. There was a lot of noise next to us because water crashed onto a corrugated iron sheet in the garden. You could make it so much nicer by putting bedside tables with a lamp on either side of the bed. The owners don't really understand English very well. We have asked them several times to help with a problem afterwards, unfortunately the answers are totally confused (We borrowed money from a person who was on tour with us and would like to return it. The small garden in front of the accommodation is lovely. The day trip we booked through the accommodation was also great. The view at breakfast is great.

The breakfast is really too poor for what you pay for. Ants in the bathroom. One of the guys there doesn't speak English at all, and it was really hard to have some information. In general, the amenities and service don't justify this really high price at all.

We had a garden bungalow and it was really pretty and peaceful. The bungalow was comfy with plenty of space in both the bedroom and bathroom. It was fan only but with the curtains closed in the day that kept it cool enough. Having a porch to relax in was great. The owner was really helpful and they also can arrange trips out including trekking and kayaking. The restaurant is a short walk away from the bungalows but in a village this quiet it didn't seem an issue and the views over the river and boat jetty was the perfect spot for breakfast.
