We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomChampy is a wonderful host offering great accommodation in her lovely home. The rooms are clean, spacious, and air-conditioned, which is needed in Negombo. The smaller bedroom is near a busy road, so earplugs are needed if you're a light sleeper. The bigger room at the back of the house is much quieter. The food is amazing, and it's an ideal place to stay for access to the airport.

Champi was a fabulous host. We enjoyed a very comfy room and delicious food. It was so convenient to walk to the station, St Sebastions Church and the fresh and fish markets. We highly recommend Cosy Nest Home stay.

NorwayWe had some difficulties in our transport and arrived verry late to Cosy Nest Home, but the moment we arrived we were greeted very warmly. They had a deep understanding and was very accommodating throughout our entire stay. This isn’t our first time staying at Cosy Nest Home. We have stayed here before. And some of the many reasons we keep coming back is because we feal safe there and taken care of.

United States of AmericaNothing bad. The house is located in central (residential) Negombo, and not in the tourist area. This is very important! The tourist area is a bit farther north, but full of tourists (and the general prices show). If you want to see and experience real Sri Lanka while being close enough to everything you want to do, this is your place.
As a full-time traveller, I can say with authority that it is one of the BEST home stays in the world. Champika and her family are so sweet and caring, and showed me the best of their country through food, traditions, and many conversations. To note, they have a grand piano! Very comfortable rooms with A/C, large beds, hot shower… everything perfect!!

NepalDespite certain issues with the bookings for which I had to call customer service to resolve, I still had other issues with the property. Firstly, as guests there is no separate entryway and the hosts must be disturbed during entry or exit. Secondly the room we stayed in had issues, while there was AC the vents above the windows were only covered with plastic sheets and had holes. We were bitten by mosquitoes all night. I'm rather allergic to insect bites and am still recovering from this incident. Thirdly, while the cost is affordable, the price for breakfast is still steep and the facility is a bit far off from the beach so the value for money is rather debatable.
The space is well maintained.
