My friends and I found it lacking in upkeep. The photos on the site are not recent. Bathroom definitely needs some renovating. It is also possibly too expensive for what you get.

It was a calm stay as only there for 1 night. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Great location next to the beach. Rooms was ok and beds were decent. The Sri Lankan breakfast was really tasty. Probably the highlight of the stay.

The towels did not smell clean. The lamp sockets were loose and difficult to plug in, after we had charged our devices. Also, the hot water was off for the first day of our stay.

The pool and sea view are both amazing, which we could see from our spacious balcony. We could walk right to the beach from the lush garden. The property is tucked away from the noise down the beach and the town, but we could easily get to where we wanted on foot or hire a tuk tuk.

Blood stained sheets, broken a/c, filthy pool, 2 out of the 6 lights worked and the shower had barely any running water.... staff had complained to our driver that we were bitching about the facilities.. very poor behaviour. Especially as we made it a point to only mention everything upon our departure as the staff were great... until we heard otherwise from our driver.

Food at the hotel wasn’t amazing but there are so many good restaurants close by. Also the walls are slightly thin so you can hear your neighbor’s but other than that no complaints at all!

amazing views from our balcony the pool was amazing and right next to the beach! The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and also it’s in a perfect location! It was our first time in Weligama and we couldn’t believe how lucky we were with the location.

- Where to beginn… to summarize: this is a place with 0 Value for money, I feel the goal is to squeeze as much money from your pocket as possible - we paid 176€ (!!) for 2 nights - for a dirty and run down room. Stay away! - We had a cabin with sea view (nice) but the room/ bathroom itself are in a very neglected state. Mattress needs urgent changing, we had ants everywhere, which the hotel tried to keep out with a dirty towel at the door. The Outdoor Bathroom is pretty much disgusting - see pictures. The shower had basically no water pressure and was crawling with ants. The soaps provided had clearly been used before! - WiFi does not work (we asked this to be fixed - nothing happened) - Sunbeds - absolutely disgusting and dirty. Never seen sth like this! Every surfing school on the beach has cleaner sun beds!! We asked them to clean/change them - they put some equally disgusting ones out. - There was no shade for the sunbeds on the beach, we had to ask for that… - They overcharge - water 1l - 600 LKR!! To compare: green Rooms 1,5l 300 LKR - Also, the place is pretty much empty.. I don’t thing anyone stays there for longer than necessary - I felt ripped off - of a good time during our holiday and of money of course. This place could be amazing, the location is perfect - but it needs serious investment or muuuuuch lower price points!!

- friendly and helpful staff, i asked for Roti for Beeakfast and the next day I got some - There great and better options right next by, such as the Green Rooms ( we stayed there right after and I highly recommend) - It‘s at the beach as advertised

Avoid this place! I don't understand how Booking allowed this place to show such fake photos. I have never seen such money hungry retards in my life! We booked the so-called chalet. The room looked nothing like in the photos: the bathroom had rust everyhwere, the toiled was extremely old and barely worked, the shower pressure was almost inexistent, the shower walls had mold. But the worst part was the actual bedroom: the wardrobe smelled of urine and the bed had a huge whole. Furthermore the mattress from the bed smelled like mold so badly that it gaves us headaches. There was little to no light in the room. We had to ask them to bring us toilet paper. After 2 nights of no sleep we asked to change rooms and we got a downgrade without refund. The normal room was ok, but they decided to renovate, so woke up every morning with the workers hitting walls. One day when we were away, they decided to work on our balcony. When we came back they did not care that we were naked in the room, they just stood there and watched. Breakfast was basic & same every day. The beachboy from the reception tried to scam us into booking a car with him to Colombo for double the other prices we found (from other drivers & pickme app). The water in the pool was so merky you couldn't see the bottom. Definetely not worth the money and far from how they present the location online. NO ONE SPEAKS ENGLISH! We had to communicate throught signs! Worst experience ever!

Need a little renovation and maintenance.

Wonderful hotel in weligama, should be more maintained but it is really amazing place on the beach ⛱️. The stuff is like a family, helping, smiling and gives you whatever you need.

The hotel room had a nice balcony, but there was no kettle, cups, coffee, tea, etc. so that you could have a cup of coffee whenever you wanted. Even though the weather was hot, there was not even a mini fridge. There is a curtain instead of a shower cabin. The water for the shower is low. This situation extends the time you spend in the shower. There is no hair dryer. Breakfast was insufficient. Also bad wifi connection

The view is nice, it is also nice that it is directly on the ocean, but other than that, the facilities are insufficient.

I suppose the furniture is a bit run down (eg the chairs on the balcony), just like at most hotels in this part of Lanka to be honest.

The staff were lovely and very attentive, they made our stay super special. Shehan the hotel manager was extremely kind and helpful. The location was perfect for us, right on the beach. We could see the surf from our bedroom, which was awesome. We will come back.
