Amazing room with great view of rice fields. One of the most well maintained buildings i have visited in Sri Lanka. Owner arranged super good food on request.

Bug control in room or bathroom at night can be hard. Does have mosquito nets however to help a bit. Bed not to our comfort preference. No hot water here.

Ishanka was friendly and helpful. Hotel only 7 months old. Large building and nice looking. We booked a non ac room and he moved us to an ac one with no trouble. Balcony area overlooking rice paddy fields is nice. Helped us order/deliver takeaway (Pizza Hut and Kottu Roti) and did us breakfast (for a fee). You can rent bikes (2 only on site), but we didn't in the end. Brought us cups of tea (for a fee) while on balcony.

Very clean and quiet homestay. The owner was very kind and made us feel at home. The best is the balcony with a beautiful view in the green ricefields. If you walk 20 minutes you can also reach a very good Indian Restaurant. Many fruit stalls nearby. It’s outside the city center, which we really enjoyed. Would definitely recommend this place :)

You need bikes or moto to visit Anuradhapura from the hotel location, but they rent out bikes there so that's a good option. Wifi is rather weak.

This place looks very good! Had a room with view on the risefields where a lot of peacocks walk around. The owner helps you with everything and you can hire a bike which is nice because everything it very close

This place is very clean and new. The host was really friendly, got us breakfast in the morning and offered us to rent a bike to explore the sacred places. The place might seem a bit remote at first, but the location is great being just amid rice fields and in between Anuradhapura and the sacred places are fairly easy to reach either by bike or using PickMe. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

The bed may be a little short for taller people (eg 190cm+), some small animals may get into the room when having the balcony open due to rice fields being under the room (in this case just call the owner, he will take care of it).

We liked our stay at Ehala Rest a lot. The property is new, so it is very beautiful. The room is a little harder, but we had one of the best sleeps on it. The owner is very friendly and always available in case of any needs or trouble. The view from the rooms towards the rice fields are amazing.

The only thing that we struggled with was that our room got extremely hot and although a fan was provided, it did not help much during the night. This, however, is our fault since we did not book a room with AC. Therefore, in the summer months, we would recommend to get a room with an AC.

Very friendly host who goes beyond to make his guests feel welcome. He prepared fresh welcome drinks on our arrival and was always willing to help throughout our stay. Our room was very spacious, absolutely clean and included a good mosquito net. The dinner that we had in the guest house (rice and curry) was one of the best of our whole Sri Lanka trip and was offered to us for a super cheap price.

We had a lovely stay at this new and beautiful guesthouse, which has the looks of a villa. The family is very friendly and helpful. The guesthouse is located in a quiet area with a perfect view on rice fields and easy to reach the sacred city. The family helped us around an acted as a taxi to Mihintale, hot springs and Trinco. This was great service! Good breakfast available on request. Please check the correct address with the owner before you arrive!
