Leaving to fly home

This is a paradise on Earth! From the moment the property gates opened, you are in the most beautiful scenery of green plants and trees. Just a short stroll and you are at the 2 properties. I was very lucky as given an upgrade to the top floor overlooking the tree tops towards the lake. It was breathtakingly beautiful. The room was very spacious with a kitchenette, fully equipped if I needed to cook or store food in the fridge or freezer. There was a TV but who needs it, hey? The WiFi helped though to keep in touch with family and friends. The bathroom was large and again with everything you can possibly need. I watched the wilderness from the window as I brushed my teeth. But THE BEST view was certainly from the balcony at sunset and again at sunrise where I recorded the beautiful sounds of nature. The owner was very kind and thoughtful, unfortunately I could not stay more than just one night this time but I wil be back for sure. If you want a peaceful, relaxing and a tranquil stay, this is your place. Even as I laid on my bed in the morning, I looked through the glass door at the views. Just what I needed after a busy tour. Thank you so much for this gem of properties.

Ants and a few cobwebs, however, we expected this as the property is surrounded by nature.

This was the most scenic location to stay in. The room was spectacular! It was very modern and had great interior. The owner was super friendly and offered his assistance if ever we needed it (for example it was raining on evening and we were offered an umbrella immediately!). This place was absolutely beautiful and in a brilliant location (10 minute tuktuk ride to the beach and restaurants).

Keep in mind that there is no any breakfast or bar at the villa (and any reception desk at all). But the rooms have a full kitchen and everything for cooking, and there is a good restaurant within a 15 minute walk.

The most important advantage of this place is it's location - in the middle of nowhere, no tourists, no noise, only jungle. And, as it was written many times before it the other feedbacks - the host, mr. Roshitha. He provides full concierge-service by himself free of charge: always online on Whatsapp, always ready to help.

Nothing really, If Roshita is able to expand to include food then that would be great, but there is a lovely kitchen, so you can bring food back and reheat or cook if necessary.

Being slightly further from the main town of Hikkaduwa meant that it was nice and quiet and only a ten minute Tuktuk ride into town. Roshita and his wife were lovely! The setting is beautiful, with lush vegetation surrounding the building, makes you feel isolated (in a good way). There were birds and bats using nearby trees which were awesome to see. The bedding was so soft and comfortable and the shower big with hot water.

Hard to locate the entrance - google maps dot is next door. Look for the sign on the gate. Need a scooter or tuk tuk to get to town.

There wasn't really anything I didn't like. I would say that it is a little bit away from town but I had a scooter and it was only 6 or 7 minutes ride.

Karawwa Luxury Villas is beautiful. The rooms are very stylish spacious and clean. The setting is very peaceful and quiet. You can spend ages on the terrace outside your room just listening to nature. The owner and staff couldn't be any nicer.

We stayed 3 weeks in Hikkaduwa in this beautiful hotel :) it was a very nice room surrounded by nature, with a large balcony and a view of the lake. The room was very modern with a Smarttv, Alexa, a well-equipped kitchen with 2 ring induction cooker, microwave, kettle, fridge, crockery and cutlery, pans and pots.the bed was a good size and very comfortable, as were the chairs on the terrace. the bathroom was very spacious and has some vanity units under the sink and a closet. The rain shower is already large and with a view of nature. The hotelier Roshita is very friendly and helpful, we felt very welcome and it was like "coming home" from the first moment. We can highly recommend the accommodation and look forward to staying there again when we fly to Sri Lanka.

The owner Rojeeta was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was spotless with a large comfortable bed and the environment was really peaceful allowing for a really good nights sleep. The bathroom was large with a lovely power shower. All in all, a lovely stay. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are in Hikkaduwa.

Every detail has been thought about, not one thing to complain about would highly recommend.

A complete and utter gem! The owner Roshitha has designed and created these breathtaking, idillic condos over looking Hikkaduwa lake. Upon arrival we parked our hired tuk tuk in the grounds safe secure car park and taken down through the jungle via a gorgeously designed angled wooden bath, handed ice cold coconuts and shown to our condo. The accommodation was very clean, modern, the king size bed was of European 5 start hotel standard very hard to get out in the morning as was so comfortable (which is very hard to find in Sri Lanka) the shower was hot and the pressure very strong (again very hard to find in Sri lanka.) The condo had great Wi-Fi, Alexa, Sonos speaker, air conditioning and all 5 star mod cons/ extras. Superbly tranquil location, stunning views, surround by un touched nature. Close to the town where you can find so fabulous restaurants, but far enough out to hear nothing but the wild life and truly relax. The building design is of impeccable standard, sunrises whilst sipping your morning coffee in bed gazing across the lake, shaded comfortable day loungers upon the balcony to hide out from the mid day sun. We feel that the nightly price is extremely reasonable for the of quality stay, we shall most certainly be back, for a lot longer next time. Many thanks The Riley’s London, UK.

Villas are faced to the hikkaduwa lake and one side of the room is glass. So, view from the room is amazing. The room is spacious, modern and equipped with a small pantry, microwave oven, refrigerator and kitchen utensils. Specially, property owner Mr Roshitha is friendly and helpful. Villa is surrounded by biutuful nature. It's basically inside of the jungle with a gougeus view on the lake. Super chillout place to be and relax. Beds and all seats ( esspessially outside) are super comfortable, all amenities are very high class. It's really luxousiuous expirience that includes even smart speakers with Alexa:)
