This place is such good value for money. Great views from up in the hills but you can walk down to the lake in about 8 minutes. Kalpa is a gentle and gracious host for whom nothing is too much trouble. There is a huge living room and a nice terrace where you can relax. I’d definitely stay here again.

Flix (the dog) was a good boy. The staff is very very nice and helpful. Rooms are clean every time you go through the house you can meet fluffy Flix which is great experience.

Beautiful location just outside of the main city, a short walk to everything you might need. The room was spotless and the view from the balcony was amazing. The host was so helpful and aided me with anything I needed. Great value for money. Definitely recommend staying at Louis Lake Villa to anyone coming to Kandy! Thankyou!

- there was mold all over the ceiling in the room - No AC - The window shades were really see through, so light was coming in at night

- Nice and spacious rooms - nice owner and really cute dog (big Goldie) - location was a bit outside of the center but it was okay to walk (about 15min) - nice terrace and communal area - renovated clean bathroom

The location is not directly in the center and was not so easy to find. But in 15mins walking distance you should reach the Temple of the Buddha Tooth. And if you call the hotel they will help giving directions.

The accommodation is superb for this price level. For me it was important to have a clean and safe space, as I travelled alone as a woman. I also wanted to avoid a loud party place. So this place was great for me, I really liked the decoration of the room, exactly like in the photos.

The room was very clean and bright. It‘s a little walk from the city but it was worth it to stay there, because the location is very calm and you have a good view. The host is also very friendly, they have also one dog.

The A/C doesn’t work the day I stayed but it was totally fine as I’m good with fan. The water heater doesn’t work as well - thinking if it’s the solar panel doesn’t work as it rained for quite awhile in Kandy.

The room is very spacious, clean and comfortable. The host (Kalpa) even moved the WiFi router nearer to the room so that I can get better connectivity. He also gave good advices on to-go/ to-eat in the city and train ride to Ella.
