Great family run guest house - very close to the centre of Ella (within walking distance) Owner was very friendly and helpful in showing us a route to the Ella rock walk. Mosquito nets were provided over the bed which were useful as you are down a little raveen close to a lot of trees so bugs are inevitable. Very peaceful and enjoyable stay.

I loved the stay! The place is really cozy, has a great view on the nature and the owners do everything for you. They were helping me with shortcuts to get to the city, scooter rent, train, and invited me to food and tea. The room was clean, with warm blankets for colder nights, a biig mirror (first time in any location in Sri Lanka for me) and towels. It was possible to open the window to let in the beautiful fresh air. Definitely recommended!

The location was a bit out of town and we needed a tuc tuc to get back and go out. The property is located at the bottom of a steep hillside and our driver couldn’t drive down there. Even one tuc tuc driver asked us to walk a bit. However the sound and view of nature made us forget all of that.

The view from our bedroom was really nice. We saw monkeys, birds and one night our balcony was lit with fireflies. It was magic. The sound of nature made us forget everything else. Breakfast was very good. The owners are extremely kind.

The location and verandah areas afforded superb views and a serene experience accompanied by good facilities . Moreover the family overwhelmed me with kindness throughout my 7 day stay.

You cannot get to the hotel by car. You have to walk or take tuk-tuk, because the road is very steep and narrow. Very low water pressure at the shower

The wifi was not working and it was hard to get here by car, because of the steep slope. Little bit hard communication, as the host english was very weak.

The views are stunning. The peace in the place, I love it! You have the mountain directly in your balcony. The breakfast was the best breakfast in my whole trip. Raveena cook delicious and she is so kind. Thank you so much! I would definitely go back if Im back in Ella!
