This place is next to the most beautiful beach we have been in Sri Lanka (literally 2 min walking) The family is super welcoming and they cooked for us a delicious dinner and breakfast in the garden. Very peaceful and quiet place to relax.

Very nice accommodation with friendly hosts. The Sea Breeze Garden is a family business who offers a great stay with delicious authentic Sri Lankan food (particularly rice and curry!). They were very nice and helped us a lot with the organization of our trip such as renting a scooter and ideas for activities. It's close to the silent beach that contains some beach bars and beach beds but it's still natural. We would definitely recommend the place.

A wonderful homestay, right by the water: you can literally walk barefoot from your room to the beach. The room was cozy and comfortable and all you could hear at night were the waves breaking on the shore. The homestay is run by Viraj, who, together with his lovely family and his assistant Indiga, will go beyond their ways to make their guests feel like at home. Highly recommended.

Its close to the beach, nice smiling family, great food. We have already stayed here once and would love to come back, mainly because of the landlady and the location. The accommodation is modest, but clean and extra clean beds, great location and pleasant owners, you don't need anything else. You're at the beach all day anyway.

Location is amazing, nearest place to the best beach in Sri Lanka. For us it become not just hotel but our temporary "home" where you always feels welcome. Tharu and Raji cook best food in Sri Lanka! You can feel Sri Lanka ONLY if you live nearby or with Sri Lanka people. Amazing family hosted us in amazing place, and captured amazing memories for the ret of our lives. Tharu is an angel, her smile lightens up every day. I was so lucky to visit her small paradise. She speaks perfectly English and i had wonderful deep conversatins with her.. She makes wonderful food and fulfills all wishes with the warmest smile that reminded me of Julia Roberts in pretty woman. She also organised a private boat tour with a local fisherman. I had such an amazing, peaceful time The lush nature around is energising and at night the mumbeling of the small river makes your float in your dreams, my sleep there was so relaxing and deep. You have to cross the neighbouring resort to get to the most beautiful paradise beach i have seen in Sri Lanka. At night the place lights up with sparkling stars and many fireflies. It is like living in a dream. I am already dreaming about coming back💥🌴😍 Don't miss it 💗❤️🌴🌴🌴⛱️🌅🌊🌊🌴🌴🌊🌴💥💥💥

I had a great time at Taru's place. She and her family were very welcoming. I felt home. She was always happy to have a chat, and make some delicious meals suited for my vegan diet. The atmosphere was always relaxed. Even when we had thunder and heavy shower; and the electricity was off, I had my dinner on the table. I loved their lush garden, the quietness of the area. Foremost, I appreciated the closeness to the truly beautiful Silent Beach. I loved watching sunrises, and drinking delicious king coconuts at Still Point Beach Cafe. Without any doubt, it became one of my star places.

I can totally recommend the Sea Breeze Garden in Tangalle. The owner Tharu is the greatest cook - her cheese Kotthu and curry were incredible, she also makes a great breakfast. And it’s just a few meters from Silent beach, which is the most beautiful beach i have seen in Sri Lanka. There are also other beautiful beaches nearby (you can walk to them). If you feel like having some quiet days at the beach - this is the perfect spot. It was so nice to meet Tharu and her family.

The room is pretty stuffy during the day if there's no aircon. The water runs slow, maybe because of the location itself. Other than that it's a great place

The room covers very basic facilities, no hot water, but is very clean and spacious, and the bed is super comfy. I also give credit for the towel provided here, nice and clean. The owner is super lovely and she cooks decent food. Senu the labrador is adorable too :) If you're looking for a walking distance place to Silent Beach, get away from touristy beaches, and immerse yourself in nature, this place is perfect for you.

I booked Sea Breeze because i want to be as close as possible to Silent Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches of Sri Lanka. It's just a 50m walk. Sea Breeze only has 3 rooms and it has their own restaurant. Room is fine with airco. The family who hosts this stay is really friendly and try to do everything to make your stay as best as possible. Really in love with their one year old labrador dog Senu.

This family is the best, such lovely people and Tharu’s cooking is great! At this price level it’s completely acceptable that the mattress is a bit on the thinner side and the room is very simple - the place has got everything you need and the family feeling gives you a wonderful local experience. It’s the closest place to the beach, only a 2 minute walk. We will definitely here again!!!
