Amazing stay!

Small detail, but the sun umbrellas were broken and it made the poolside area feel a bit dilapidated, which was a contrast to the rest of the property.

We had an absolutely amazing stay here for our honeymoon - one of our favourite places in the whole of Sri Lanka. The team went out of their way to make us feel special with thoughtful surprises at every moment. The location is also exceptional, and the food delicious.

The rooms were fantastic - spacious, a really comfortable big bed and supplied with everything you could need. The pool area is great for a relief from the heat. We went up Sigiriya early morning as you can walk (to both rocks) from the hotel. The owner and staff are so thoughtful. We really appreciated them telling us about the history of the area, and spending time chatting to us. They were always going above and beyond. The food also was delicious, and we ate in their restaurant a number of times. We especially enjoyed the Sri Lankan breakfast. The location is utterly beautiful - The peaceful noises of nature were so lovely to be around. I spent hours each day just watching the birds. We loved it so much we extended our stay.

My final bill had an extra $100 charge from another room, so check your final bill. Staff quickly removed this charge.

Great location with views across to both rocks. Large, well equipped room, good breakfast and dinner options. Very friendly staff, nice pool area.

Excellent view and very helpful hotel staff. They were very welcoming and treated us like friends not guests. We stayed in the tree house which was air conditioned. Good Sri lankan breakfast. Definetly would recommend this place!

Beautiful location with view of both the rocks from the window. It is centrally located, about 5-7 mins off road in the middle of the jungle, enhancing the experience. Spotless clean rooms with adequate space and all required amenities. Had dinner and breakfast at the property and it tasted great. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Sigiriya.

We came to Sigiriya Kings Resort as our first stop in our to Sri Lanka for our honeymoon. We arrived at the airport and they had very kindly arranged a transfer to the hotel for us so we didn’t have to worry about anything. We arrived to a very warm welcome from all the staff and incredible views of both rocks. We honestly couldn’t fault the service of the staff as they were so friendly and spoke impeccable English. Everyone couldn’t help you enough. The restaurant food is true Sri Lankan style and is delicious. We’d highly recommend going on the safari as the staff found us loads of elephants to see and we had a jeep all to ourselves. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

The location of Sigiriya King’s Resort is breathtaking. The pool is very nice and overlooking the 2 rocks. The staff is very welcoming and caring. Sri Lankan breakfast was amazing, very generous and tasty. We will definitely come back.

Beautiful property and the views. If you’re not keen on hiking the sigiriya rock. There is a perfect view from the pool. Front desk and restaurant staff are top notch.

I liked everything… I do not know what to write here, Evryone is different,the wifi sometimes did not worked but I experienced this in the whole country, as I understood is Dialogs problem, not the hotels, and for internet dependent maybe it could be a problem, the second thing that in nature you have animals soo we had 2 lizards inside,but the staff was really helpful , they came immediately and took them out. A little pricey for Sri Lanka but, You are treated like a 👑 soo it worth it.

This was the best place I have ever stayed, first of all, the reality is better than photos, it is a quite place in nature where you can relax and you can see outside the main tourist attractions of Sigirya, the personal was helpful, nice & kind, I have never experienced this kind of treatment, the room was big, specious,clean and good smell, cool 🛁, you cand choose between Sri Lankan and English breakefast, once we had dinner, it was really good,the place is peaceful and one day we were invited to have a breakefast in threehouse, wich was amazing. Who loves nature will definetly like this Place.😊I would highly recommend.

The location of this property is second to none. Sit on your terrace or by/in the pool and gaze on the Lion’s rock and Pidurangala - breathtaking! The staff are the best; discreet but very friendly. The food was excellent and they catered wonderfully for our preferences. The hotel can arrange all manner of transport and suggestions for adventures. But to be within walking distance of the rocks has to be the icing on the cake!!

Best to avoid the ‘budget rooms’. They are small and not a patch on the luxury rooms.

King’s Resort is in a very quiet location, a way down a dirt track. There’s no traffic noise and it has a fantastic view of Lion Rock. The master bungalows are large and beautifully appointed. Service is superb and all the staff are delightful and helpful. There’s lots of colourful wildlife around. It’s a real oasis. There’s a lovely swimming pool for cooling off in, and the restaurant food is delicious.

Would have appreciated a few more vegan options in the restaurant, although the location means it was easy for us to go into the village to eat.

It's pricey, but you get what you pay for!

This is a 5* place. Absoutly lovely place to stay, with stunning vies and grounds. Staff all lovely, food amazing. Would loved to have stayed longer. They went to extra effort to celebrate our anniversary with them as well.

google gives really incorrect driving directions, ending up on a narrow dirt road to nowhere. the reception desk was too visible from the dining and pool area with incorrect lighting and poor aesthetics.

all meals were exceptional. The butterfly bushes were unique!!. The view on the two hills was breathtaking. Our host is an exceptional hotelier--- very personable and a great attention to detail. well worth a long stay as there's lots to do, and also dolce faar niente. NB If driving and following Google.WARNING Google leads you down the no exit garden path, Call the hotel for directions.
