You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

SpainWe missed a closet in the room. It is a little far from center. It is necessary to take a transport (bus, tuktuk, taxi,...) to go to center. Hotel is around 40-45min to center by foot. Average price tuk tuk in Colombo: 100 rupees per 1km.
We rent a room with two beds for two nights. Bed was confortable. AC and WiFi worked very good. Bathroom was ok included towels and soap. In general facilities were good condictions (terrace, couches,...). There are several shops to buy food, drinks, etc. near the hotel. It is a quiet neighbourhood.

United Kingdomthe air conditioning wasn’t very good.
The owner was very kind and we were always met with a big smile and friendly greeting. He saw us waiting for our tuk tuk in the heat & brought us a glass of refreshing drink. We were allowed to view a couple of different rooms to choose from and both were very clean. Although it is a little out of the way, we enjoyed the location - close to supermarkets, pharmacies and only short walks to many restaurants & coffee shops. Only a very short tuktuk ride to the centre of Colombo & any major tourist spots.

BelgiumI could hear my neighbours talking the night away, when I checked out at midnight this was still the case, so not really soundproof rooms. No wifi in the room (3rd floor).
Very friendly and helpful staff and manager. They make sure you are doing well and feel at home. Good location, many buses to go to Fort or Pettah area nearby. No noise from the street. Fast wifi at the dining area.
