The bathroom was a bit outdated, but nothing that was creating an inconvenience.

It gets abit scary outside the hotel at night, but I guess that’s because it’s really close to the station.

Excellent service! Felt really welcomed. The location was excellent, I arrived the day it was raining and I got to the hotel really quickly from the station. I had an early train to catch the next day, so staying near the station was really convenient

There was a bar in the hotel, but I couldn't tell if it was for a private function or open to all. I didn't try it as didn't want to gatecrash. Area when walking by the hotel and away from the station got a bit "interesting" after dark. Aggressive shouting in the streets and red light area. Stick between hotel & main station and use the trams (which are safe). No late, reasonable supermarket I could find nearby.

The welcome was warm, although I had to wait for a few minutes while another issue was dealt with before I was seen. The room on first floor was really nice and faced an inner courtyard. There was absolutely no external noise or from other guests. There was construction work going on outside the front of the hotel but I could not hear it once in my room. The location is less than five minutes walk from central train station. And yes it's true - PUBLIC TRANSPORT IN LUXEMBOURG IS FREE!!! The whole country when travelling standard class. Tram from outside station takes you to centre & nightlife within ten minutes. Area directly out the station was worth being vigilant. Inside the station there were always 3 visible security guards keeping an eye on things.

The planes are flying so close by that it makes rest impossible (and I'm not a light sleeper).

Breakfast was good, location was also excellent (3 min to train station, 15 min to city centre) and room was clean.

The floor in our room could stand to be renovated, but that was not necessarily a big issue for us. The room was nice.

The breakfast was poor for a four stars hotel. There was noise coming in from the streets as well as from the nearby rooms.

Nice hotel with exceptional old design overall, clean rooms, very good location close to the central station as well as to the center. The concierge was welcoming all the time and speaks German and French. All the staff were polite and supportive.

This hotel is the epitome of the type of style and elegance money can’t buy. Staff was heartwarmingly friendly and made me feel like I was visiting my loving grandparents. With the atmosphere, quality of service and location of this hotel, I cannot recommend staying here enough.
