It was a little too bright at night because of the roof window but the owner is aware and said that it will be taken care of.

Fantastic place, friendly owner, great sauna and terrace. Kitchen has everything for cooking. bath salt for a relaxing bath was a nice bonus. We enjoyed our stay pretty much and definitely highly recommend it.

No complaints, perfect stay

Perfect place for a weekend. Hospitable host, spacious property, fresh and modern interior, no neighbours around, close to the sea and to the train station, supermarkets and cafes in a walking distance. Cozy terrace with a fireplace, barbecue spot, sauna included in price, nice garden and lawn.

Water aroma thing. We discussed it with the owner and he said that new filtering system was just installed so the aroma should disapear soon. But if you have extremely sensitive nose, take drinking water with you (it is ok to drink water from the tap, if the aroma does not bother you). And it's not like it was so bad, as we know that in quite many places in Latvia water has this specific aroma, but good to know it in advance.

We had an opportunity to spend a weekend at the "Garage" house. It was absolutely amazing! House is recently renovated by the owner and his family - you can see and feel so many details that were nicely thought! The sauna, the terrace - absolutely stunning to be enjoyed in romantic getaway or with kids. The place in real life is even better than in the pictures! House is equiped with everything you need - kitchen utensils including owen and dishwasher so we could cook our selves. 2 toilets - very nice! Very comfortable bed - extra pillows would be nice though. I'm already planning our next stay in this place :)

Extremely friendly and helpful host! The place it self looks exactly like on pictures and was very comfortable, especially the fireplace and nice sauna. There wasn't much to do around the area during winter without a car, but during summer i imagine going to the nice beach would be extra bonus. There is a little track near the beach, which was great with kids.

The property is very modern, atmospheric and beautiful. Seems like every detail is well thought through. The shop and the beach are very close by. It’s great that the sauna is included in the price.

We spent a week in the house and everything was excellent. I am very grateful to the host, Mareks, for taking good care of us in a medical emergency. He treated us like family. He even bought food from the grocery store and medication for me: and he wouldn’t take money for all of this. He made our stay unforgettable!

The cottage is full of interesting, historic and beautiful details. Everything you need is there, including good Finnish Harvia sauna and terrace with grill for barbecuing and vines. The sea and the beach are only few minutes walking away, restaurant is next door and shops in walking distance. Very nice place!

Everything was perfect! The house is in great location - close to the seaside and all the main natural sights. We loved the antique furniture and the history behind the cottage. The owner is super friendly and helpful, gave a lot of suggestions on what we can do and where we can eat around Saulkrasti. The house has a sauna which was great for colder days.
