A very warm welcome. I traveled with dogs and they were welcomed as lovingly as I was. Everything was clean and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Breakfast was big and tasty.

It was a nice clean, quiet and cosy place. The room was big with high ceiling and a lot of air and light.

This time in our room the bathroom was very narrow, but it didn't make much difference in overall satisfaction with the stay. It is really a good place.

We come to Grasu pils every time when we need to stay in the region; it's really a great place. Very pleasant environment both outside and inside, the room has everything you need, the breakfast is excellent.

There was an area in the garden we would like to be in, we saw it but we could not fined the right path to it. But that's an useless comment anyways.

We ware a group of 8 persons and they served the breakfast in the separate room so it was a nice morning gathering for the whole company of ours. All good with the food and as a special treat was a Karums (latvian Curd Snack).

The manor is very nice and the surroundings are peaceful. I would recommend this as an excellent stay for anyone. The lady running it is so kind and helpful. Breakfast was very good too

The reception was very hospitable. The number is big, light and clean. The sauna at perfect temperature and the bubble bath perfect. Breakfast rich, tasty and with a perfect view of the garden. I suggest.

The very cosy and historic atmosphere, the beauty of interiors, the attention for details (blankets and towels), the view from the window. The owner is very welcoming and does everything for you to feel comfortable. We traveled with our one year old child and worried that things might be complicated, but not at all. The owner made our staying very pleasant and comfortable. Our son loved the place and was very happy to have a big room to run through. I can’t wait to come here with my family from Italy and we will definitely suggest this place to all our friends and colleagues.

Well, it is no that I did not like, just for some guests I have to say that Cesvaine and closest swimming place are about 5 km far, not a walking distance. There is no dinner. But I would recommend the 2 places in Cesvine - the coffee shop: beautiful garden, and Kuilis - surprisingly good rustic kitchen.

This place has the best price/performance rate I ever stayed. It was very clean, rooms were spacious, we could use a nice kitchen at the end of the corridor on our convenience. Surroundings were calm and lovely. The managing lady is very, very kind and discreet at the same time. You will feel like at home (country house) there.

Those huge carpets everywhere, you just cannot unnotice them, as they give the soul to the place. Our dog just loved the place, big wide space outside and perfectly ideal carpet inside the room to sleep. Could say that same as good for humans, bed and all things in room were perfect. Funny thing that while staying in second floor and chatting with friends in hall lounge we wanted to put some music and the was music center with cd box, without remote control what lead to listen all evening and morning classical music. That made us felt good and unique.
