Set on a hill overlooking the valley, surrounded by peacocks donkeys sheep dogs cats… a selection between traditional and modern rooms , options for home cooked meals, really close to the ifrane national park… very friendly staff.

Everything was good, a quiet place close to everything. The owner is very welcoming and willing to help you find your way. The breakfast is very good and they have lunch and dinner if you want. The room was clean.

We had a great stay at Gite Forest Tagroumte! The host, Jamal, was very hospitable and kind. We wanted to do a hike and he showed us a route that we could do. The hike was very beautiful and it was a great way to explore the area. And when we took longer on the hike than he expected (we were taking many pictures😛), he called us to see if everything was all right. The view from the hotel was amazing, especially with the sunset! The food was also amazing. We had the best couscous there so far in Morocco! Furthermore, on the second night he invited a group of Amazigh musicians that gave us a great performance with lots of music, laughter and dancing! We would definitely recommend staying here!

The room was quite sensitive to sounds from outside due to single-glass windows. There was no airconditioning though this is mentioned on booking (not that we missed it as it cooled down enough in the evening).

Beautiful location with a view over the valley. We were lucky to be able to pick a room with that same view. Good starting point if you want to explore the cedar forest. Jamal was very welcoming and ready to help with our questions. We had two very tasty dinners of home-made food that was priced rather reasonably compared to many other accomodations.

There were no such things at all, even if you wanted to find them, you had no idea where to start at.

It was a fantastic stay, even though we only were there for 11 hours in the end. Jamal was a very kind host and offered us even a meal in the evening at 9 p.m., which we sadly had to refuse because we had our dinner already. Anyway, we had also the opportunity to choose one of the many rooms freely. All of the rooms looked highly comfortable, spacious and clean, the beds were super cozy too and the bathroom also fulfilled our expectations. To put it all simple, Jamal, thank you for this wonderful night (stargazing on the terrace and breathtaking view in thw morning inclusively, because the location was a little bit out of town and aside the main street, but nevertheless we had no problem to get there with our rental car either) and the quiet hours we spend there in general. It was a real pleasure to us!

I love this place. Rooms are large and cosy, mine had a beautiful view on the surroundings. Perfect departure location to hike into the forest. Delicious food ! My salad and vegetarian couscous were fantastic, seriously. Manager was absent so communication was'nt at best, but lovely staff.

it has some things to repair in the rooms , at least the one we had. shower didn’t drain very good. they should be more careful with the details in the room such as avoiding that insects (flies ) are in the room for example.

The Auberge is out of town so very peaceful and quiet and very relaxing..…beautiful walks into the Cedar forest from the Auberge. It’s family run so very personal and friendly. The food was exceptional and we felt very spoilt

Very simple and peaceful place to stay, it’s about 7kms away from the main town of ifrane but set completely in the nature, the owner Jamal and his family took very good care of us and gave us good information about the region, very courteous and ever smiling, we stayed at the Berber style house and liked it . Definitely it’s good value place to stay .

There are no lights available next to the bed. Just one switch at the entrance door to the room. Bath mat should be introduced to the bathroom.

The host is super nice and will provide some trails for hiking through the forest. Basically you can start directly at the accommodation, which is very convenient for hikers. The rooms are pretty basic.

Stayed in room no. 1, unfortunately the toilet odor is not well managed .. it needs some workaround.

The terrace view overlooking to the downhill is really giving peaceful feeling. If you after a spot just to sit and be quiet, this is the place. I preferred having the dinner in the hotel rather than outside, it's well prepared and we can directly go to bed once done.
