Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

The Riad its very well located in a central yet not crowded area, cozy and the stuff it’s amazing, they helped me and my friend for everything at any time. We felt very welcomed. The breakfast it’s excellent and their mint tea it’s one of the best that I have tasted in Morocco. There is an amazing terrace where you can admire the beauty of the city. I highly recommend this Riad.

United Kingdom***Review written by Kristin*** My overall stay was pleasant and so I'm reluctant to be critical, however a couple of cold showers really made some mornings fairly uncomfortable... Apparently the water is heated by gas canisters and on one occasion the gas ran out. The storage tank is also on the roof, and so also gets incredibly cold overnight during the winter - something to bear in mind if showering in the morning. Several lights were also broken in the room and bathroom, and weren't able to be fixed during our stay - this made it a fairly difficult to see properly in a windowless room (a feature of most riads where rooms look out onto an inner courtyard).
Mohammed was one of the best things about Riad BB Marrakech - he bent over backwards to accommodate our early starts for tours to Essaouira and Merzouga, making sure that we had breakfast items to take with us and keeping our sandwiches overnight jn the fridge. He was clearly incredibly busy, yet I never saw him without a smile on his face. Otherwise it was so good to start our first day in Marrakech with a rooftop breakfast while enjoying the beautiful view of the city. The riad is brilliantly located to enjoy all the main attractions in the Medina. The room had a combined heating/air conditioning system which was useful on a cold winter's evening.

United KingdomThe paint on the walls was peeling off and collecting on the floor, but they cleaned as soon as I asked. Several light bulbs were either dim or not working, but I found it to be very common in Morocco. WiFi was a bit patchy (also very common in riads).
Very central location but also very quiet. Mohammed is a lovely host, kind, helpful and attentive. Spacious rooms Comfortable beds Nice and tidy bathrooms Lovely view from the roof terrace Abundant breakfasts Nice common area

Thanks to the other Mohammed for helping me change my bus ticket, also facilitating an early breakfast for me on the day I left was much appreciated. The riad is located very close to the main square with a nice rooftop to relax and enjoy the sun. Highly recommended.

United KingdomBed was very hard. Shower had no curtain so the bathroom floor would be very wet after showering and it sloped down towards the toilet so you’d need to wear shoes to use the loo.
Lovely host, very welcoming and warm. Great location. Quiet street but only 5mins walk from the main square.

The Riad is absolutely amazing! It smells so good when we enter and the rooms are beautiful, very confortable and clean. We woke up listening to the birds even if we were close to the main square, which was a big surprise. It's a quite place. Mohammed is the perfect host and an amazing person! He received us with bread and tea and it was the best reception we've ever had. His simpaty and kindness made our visit unforgettable. He is such a kind person with a pure soul and received us with all the love that was possible. We felt in a family and I really want to tell all the persons that are thinking about coming to this riad: you will feel like home. The breakfast was one of the bests I’ve ever had, a table full of delicious food. Thank you Mohammed for receiving us this way, we’ll sure be back!

The owner, Mohamed met me at 00.20 on arrival to Marrakech to guide me to the accommodation, he was very friendly and helpful throughout the stay and give great advice on where to go, places to avoid and how to deal with the traders when they were being persistent. The location is right in the centre of Marrakech, a two minute walk from the main square.
