Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe riad itself was architecturally beautiful, with each room being unique in design. It was extremely clean and the staff kept on top of things. The staff were amazing, very welcoming, open to conversations and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend and return!

IsraelRiad XO surpassed all the previous places I’ve stayed in Marrakesh (and I've been quite a lot). If your dates are available you are in a luck! DONT think twice and book immediately because this is the place to stay in Marrakech! The design of the Riad is beautiful but has that amazing skill of balancing comfort with style so you feel that you are home and safe. Every corner is full of charm and so photogenic! The pool and the relaxing setting area around is exactly what you need for relaxing time before/ after discovering the city. My room was spacious, stunningly stylish and superbly appointed. The whole riad is immaculately clean and a credit to the cleaning staff. Breakfast each of my four mornings was Moroccan, freshly made, very tasty and plentiful, actually the taste of the fresh orange juice is still in my mouth (the tastiest I’ve ever had and I’m not exaggerating). Location! The riad is well located just a minutes of walks from all what you need to see in Marrakech. The staff is AMAZING, super professional, full of knowledge, attending and welcoming. A special thanks to Hamid, Oussama and of course Stephane the owner who took a good care of me.

United KingdomBreakfast is repetitive.
Beautiful Riad done up to a very high standard. An oasis of calm as soon as you step in. From the scent of orange blossom to the birdsong around the lush greenery, everything has been designed to perfection. Staff were excellent. Room was cleaned everyday and the bedding was luxurious. The little touch of pastries left in the room when we returned each evening, was much appreciated. Lots of spaces to relax on the rooftop.

United KingdomEverything was perfect! First we thought a TV would be nice but actually it’s better if you don’t have a TV, you tend to go out more, appreciate the surroundings and meet people :)
Overall it was an excellent stay. We loved the aesthetic of the hotel..every corner was so unique and picture perfect, almost like from pin interest board :) We loved the color tones/ furnitures/ designs. How quiet it was even though it’s in heart of medina, step away from souks. Staffs were amazing, always smiling and very helpful. Loved the selection of breakfast. The owner Stefano was very sweet and he made sure we were looked after. Chatting to him was insightful and we are really happy we met him.

AustriaThe only complaint, they run out of beer and wine twice in our 5 day stay. We are not big drinkers, but 1 or 2 beers at night on the roof terrace would have been great. Twice we couldn’t get any beer and or wine.
Very comforting, helpful staff. Stephan, one of the owners, was very helpful to fulfill our wishes. The rooms were lovely and the roof terrace is like a quiet oasis. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. The location in the Medina was great and very quiet. If you visit Marrakech, you should stay in the Medina. Easy reach by Taxi to almost the front door. Wonderful riad, wonderful people.

HungaryThe jacuzzi. we specifically booked the accomodation for the jacuzzi and it didn’t heat up at all.
-it was very clean, cosy, looked very very luxurious and it’s a very safe accomodation. You can’t enter the Riad yourself, you have to ring the reception and they will come downstairs and open the door for you. doesn’t matter what time you arrive at the place. -everyone was super kind, even adjusted the breakfast to us a little bit when we had to leave early in the morning for excursions and the airport - they helped us in many things - were able to provide us airport shuttle our last day at 4.15 and we asked for it the day before at 9PM

IrelandI could hear birds singing at night!? Weird, but we heard it for the 4 nights.
The Riad Amira Victoria is very close to the old School in Medina and a couple of minutes from the main square. You will need Google maps(sim card cost 10eu in the airport) in the medina to help you around in case you get lost. The riad also recommended a tour guide which was great on our first day! He brought us to try the tipical Moroccan beans breakfast, to shops such as leather craft, argan oils, to eat tagine for lunch etc. Riad is exactly what you see in the pics. It is beautiful and the rooms were spacious and beautiful Moroccan style! We were very happy with our breakfast. Staff were extremely friendly specially Hicham(sorry if I wrote it wrong), he was very helpful and welcoming! Highly recommend this Riad.

EgyptThe staff need alot more training and more attentiveness is following through on guests’ requests. Not a single request that we made was done on time or done at all. Transportation booked through the riad to take us from the airport was over 45 minutes late despite us confirming multiple times with the team. Desert trips that we wanted to book we were told we didnt need to do it until we arrived at the riad only to find out once we arrived that the ones we wanted to go to were fully booked. We had to run after the team to find a workaround. Spa booking was confirmed and reconfirmed only for us to find out that the teams didnt inform one another during the shift change so the booking got lost and we ended up having to delay the treatment. Breakfast nowhere near what we expected from a riad at this price range. No range at all and very average quality.
Incredible location and beautiful rooms & riad overall. Highly recommend if you want to go for the full Moroccan experience by staying in a place that lets you walk around marakech all day long. Facilities and rooms and very modern, comfortable, and clean.

United States of Americathis was the smallest riad you could stay in. The foot of the bed in the bedroom was so close to the opposite wall that only a suitcase standing up and you squeezing by could fit. the night table in between had no top. The bathroom in our part of the suite could not accomodate a fat person. The breakfast on the rooftop was not at all comparable to any other stay and the view was of taller buildings on both side. For a pricey read it had no lunch or dinner offering. The price was very high and not at all worth it. I would not recommend this place of stay to anyone.

United Kingdom3 days into our stay a significant amount of money went missing. We no longer felt safe there and had to move. Unfortunately I had prepaid for our stay. The manager has failed to return the money for the nights we didn’t stay. Everything is always great until something goes wrong and then you see the reality
This hotel has great rooms, good space and a great and safe location.
