The lighting in the room was very bad, and there ìs very little natural light. There is no proper balcony from the room despite what the listing says. Finally the wifi was very weak.

The other guests were a bit rowdy/our room only had windows to internal staircase so no privacy / sound barrier. Our shower was very smelly and we had nowhere to hang clothes but everything else was clean.

Traditional architecture, a bit more of a side street but close to everything. Lots of space on ground floor, rooftop doesn’t have a view but breakfast was served up there which was a typical meal of carbo items.

The terrace, where breakfast is served could benefit from some refurbishment and attention to detail. But it was good enough.

The location is perfect. The room was a bit dark during the daytime but perfect for sleeping at night, and also protected from external noise. Breakfast was nice and the staff was kind.

The rooftop where breakfast was served could use a refresh..the multi colored walls are ugly and outdated .. not fun to look at It could be repainted to make it easier on the eyes for a more tranquil experience. Ofcorse this is very personal taste ..

Riad Beldy was perfect for our group of 4 staying in Essaouira for a couple of nights. The room was cute, clean, and spacious enough. Towels were provided, there were hooks and shelves for clothes, and the WiFi worked well. We especially liked the breakfast, which was included, that had a generous window of 8:30-11:30. The Riad has a lovely roof terrace, the staff were very nice, and all in all I would really recommend it for those on a budget.

Wifi was not working in the room, there is no separate shower in the bathroom, this created a problem. We couldn't go out to the terrace whenever we wanted, it was closed at some hours. There is not enough space to put stuff in the room. This is a problem especially in a room for 4 people. There is no equipment for heating, and there may be problems with cooling in summer.

Breakfast was nice, the terrace was very pleasant. The location is amazing, the price is very cheap compared to the location and it pays off.

The darkness of the room, views were to a wall from another flat (but we guess that's typical in streets that narrow) no air con, but we did not require it at the time.

We liked the traditional style room. Bed was comfortable and facilities were accurate. Breakfast was absolutely beautiful, same as the staff working here. Location is perfect. Amazing friendlyness, thank you.

The room was quite dark and it seems like the facilities haven't been updated in a while. Also the bathroom was quite small, and there wasn't any sort of barrier for the shower, so it was impossible to shower without getting water all over the bathroom floor.

Location was good in the medina and our room was spacious, beds were comfortable. Staff were all very kind and helpful.

The upper loft in our room, Room 5, felt a little dangerous with the steep stairs and very low railing. The bathroom was quite tight and the shower is not separate so everything gets wet. There was only a tiny bar of soap provided. Other rooms were much nicer, we loved the hotel just wish we had booked a room with a different layout.

The riad was in the perfect location in the medina. The building and rooms are beautifully decorated and inviting. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot. The breakfast was the perfect start to our day. Essaouira is a beautiful place and we loved our stay.
