First and foremost, Ottoman is the most gracious and helpful host. The property is lovely, the location is great, and rooms are clean and well appointed. Highly recommend!!

Pillows were uncomfortable and there were no alternative ones.

Breakfast was good - more of the fruit salad would be good. Less bread and pastries would have been preferable, substituted with maybe granola? Loved the roof terrace for somewhere to relax, drink wine, eat breakfast and meet the handful of other guests.

Communication with the hotel prior to our stay was difficult and responses were rarely came to questions. The WiFi was sporadic and at times we couldn't connect which was frustrating. There is food available at the hotel but it is a case of pre booking an evening meal and you get what the chef is cooking that day. No menu to peruse and no choice BUT the food was actually really good.

Excellent location to access all the main sites on foot. Muhammad and Ottoman were so pleasant and helpful and couldn't do enough for guests. The riad was clean and tidy and the roof top was a lovely space to relax.

the only tiny hiccup was the wifi connection that was inconsistent. Were there in December and I imagine it has been fixed by now

the road was beautiful and the staff took exceptional care of us and our little daughter. we wer so touched by their thoughtfulness! the location is right in the old town so unbeatable for walks! breakfast was delicious the dinner upon our arrival (we were severely delayed) was so special and nobody complained about us serving close to midnight and taking a long time to eat. the room was huge with a huge bed and it was so easy with our daughter as we didn’t need to climb stairs. there are two breakfast areas, one downstairs and one on the roof terrace both are beautiful. staff helped us book taxis, book tours, change money at the closest bank and gave us tips on where to eat. We had a magical stay and would come again anytime!

The property is centrally located which makes it very easy to visit the popular destinations by foot. I have to add that Mohammed and Utman (hope I spelt his name right) were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was very pleasant Few tips from our visit 1. Get in touch with Riad Talaa12 to book your taxi to and from the airport and don’t go with any other option. We used the taxi service from booking dot com one way and trust me this wasn’t pleasant as we were asked to get off about a mile away from the property 2. Don’t leave the airport without buying a SIM card

The heating in the room was off. Very cold. wish there was coffee and tea in the room or an intercom. Was awful to keep asking the guys for coffee at 1 in the night.

Staff was excellent - warm hospitable and welcoming. The Riad is beautifully decorated and quaint.

The room with fireplace was beautiful, the whole riad and location are perfect, you should ask them for dinner because they made us the best food during our trip in Morocco, we regret that we didn't order it every day (but we ordered it twice and every time it was AMAZING, I think 5 stars hotel can't make so delicious food) - if you want to try authentic and delicious Moroccan food don't look in the restaurants in Medina, ask them about the dinner, and they can even prepare you what you want. The staff is amazing !

It's not about the Riad itself, it's the typical thing going on in Marrakech. The Riad organized a Taxi to pick us up and bring us to the riad. He parked quite far away, making it "necessary" for another guy to bring our luggage to the riad by foot. Some unasked Dirham there, some unasked Dirham here, we could have carried our luggage too, but the man insisted. For first-timers in Marrakech or someone like me: Negotiate and stay with your "No".

The location is a beautiful Riad in the middle of the Medina. You open the door, get off the chaotic and load streets and you enter an oasis of calmness. The inner garden is magic, a small well, palms and clementine trees. Two worlds colliding - Medina and Peace inside. The breakfast was extraordinary. Ask to have it on the roof-top. We had one man from the Riad taking care of us and he was super friendly and always willing to please. Exceptional service. Thank you.

Such a lovely beautiful Riad with amazing hospitality!! We had a lovely stay at Talaa 12, Muhammad was amazing and took great care of us, to make sure we will have the best stay. The Riad is situated in a wonderful central location, close to all main attractions, but once in the Riad, it’s quiet and tranquil. The dinner and breakfast were great, they prepared for us also vegan options and accommodated our dietary needs. Such a wonderful place!!! Highly recommended!

Fabulous stay in this stunning riad, an oasis in the middle of the Medina. The suite was gorgeous, spacious and very comfortable. A/C was a welcomed plus as the nights were still quite hot in September. Nice big bathroom and we even had a little private sitting area on the landing overlooking the patio. The riad was so peaceful and relaxing, especially during the day when other guests were out. Location was ideal : close to the souks but in a quieter area, right next to the Medersa Ben Youssef which made it easy to find. What truly made our stay special was the warm and welcoming hospitality of the staff, Karam, Mohammed and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. All our transfers were organised, Mohammed booked us taxis for evening outings to restaurants and personnaly walked us back from the taxi station at night so we wouldn't get lost. On our last day our party was leaving on different flights and my sister was allowed to use the room until she had to leave in the afternoon and they even cooked her lunch. Breakfast was another highlight, served daily on one of the beautiful terraces and absolutely delicious. All in all this is a wonderful place to stay in the Medina, I would 100% recommend it and would stay again on my next trip to Marrakech.

Everything! Perfect location within the Medina. Close to everything yet in nice and clean part of the Medina. Very clean! Great breakfast and absolutely amazing staff, who attended to every need with a genuinely wellcoming smile… and of course, Muhammad, the supervisor, who is the most hospitable person I ever met, in an exceptional manner!
