Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

TurkeyAbsolutely nothing!
Djuron was the most welcoming hotelier we have ever met. From the first moment we checked in to the hotel until we said goodbye, he treated us like family and made us feel at home. The location of the hotel was ideal for us. It is located in Dobrota, a very quiet and calm place. Ideal for quiet morning walks. When you rent a car or bike, it is very easy to go to Kotor old town and other districts. There is a parking space in front of the hotel. If you request breakfast, it is prepared specially for you and everything is served very delicious and fresh. Djuro offered to renew everything without us having to request it. It was a very satisfying breakfast. We chose the room with sea view and balcony. The view of the Bay of Kotor made us very happy. The room has air conditioning which is very sufficient for heating/cooling. Hot water in the bathroom was very satisfactory. Our room was cleaned every day. The music selections in the hotel are very nice and the volume is very well adjusted. We could not swim due to the weather, but the hotel has its own very nice pier. Djuro gave us very nice recommendations for our trip. Come to Babilon and enjoy the stunning view of Kotor bay, the stone building and the friendly hospitality of Djuro and his family! When we come to Kotor again, we will definitely stay here.

SerbiaExcellent value-for-money apartment positioned directly on the sea-front, located in the peaceful area of Dobrota. Open all year long, a perfect place for sunbathing beside the sea even in the winter. Excellent hiking routes up the mountain available nearby. Perast is a 10min ride, Kotor old-town 4km walk.

TurkeyOur only regret is not having stayed longer. We sincerely hope to return to Kotor in the future and when we do, Hotel Babilon will undoubtedly be our accommodation of choice once more.
Rating: 5/5 Our brief stay at Hotel Babilon in Kotor was nothing short of magical. Nestled along the scenic shores of Kotor Bay, this small yet exquisite hotel captivated us with its charm and the unparalleled hospitality of its owners, Alexandra and her husband. Traveling by car from Tirana and visiting Budva en route, we arrived late, but our gracious hosts went above and beyond to accommodate our late check-in seamlessly. Despite our early departure the following morning, they were there to bid us farewell, a testament to their warm and attentive service. The rooms we stayed in were impeccably clean and cozy, boasting spacious balconies that offered breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea across Kotor Bay. Whether it was evening, night, or morning, the panorama was simply stunning. Though I had hoped to capture the sunrise, the weather did not permit it. Yet, the misty morning scene that greeted us was so enchantingly beautiful that missing the sunrise colors hardly felt like a loss. The hotel's serene beachfront location, combined with the tranquility of early February, made our stay exceptionally peaceful. Situated about a 10-minute drive to the town center and conveniently located between Perast and the heart of Kotor, its location could not have been more ideal for exploring the area.

TurkeyOwner has a family and when we sit in the restaurant every member of the family treated us as a part of their family. Conversations were so lovely and they gave us free cake (traditional) to test it. Also, all the food was delicious. The cooker asked us what we want, if there is sth special which we wanted to eat he would cook and so on.. Everyone was so nice and we were greatful to stayed there. Without any hesitation -even in the middle of the winter- you can come :)

TurkeyThere is nothing we don't like. Everything was fine.
The hotel's location, owners, cleanliness, view, in short, everything was great. Located close to Kotor Old Town and Perast. The owners are very nice people, they hosted us as if we were visiting, not a hotel. Thank you very much. When we come to Kotor again, there is no need to think about where we will stay.

HungaryEven though it was cold, there were mosquitoes. But not a big deal.
Accommodation in a quiet and peaceful village right in front of the sea. The owner couple is friendly and it is a 5-minute drive to Kotor Old Town. Personally, I liked it better than the accommodations in Old Town, and the atmosphere of the sea village remains in my memory for a long time.

Beautiful place to stay & right on the beach. The host & other staff were incredibly friendly & helpful & I loved sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine & watching the sunset. Apartment was very clean & provided everything needed for a perfect stay. It’s about 15 minute taxi ride out of Kotor but the bonus is the sea on our doorstep. There is a restaurant downstairs plus another one belonging to the host that is right beside the ocean so definitely recommend eating there

TurkeyIt was nice to have its own beach. It's great to wake up to the sea in the morning. It was the room with the largest balcony and the view was great. It was pretty clean. It was located between Kotor and Peras. We reached Kotor by walking. We reached Perasta by public transportation. We loved the bobilon team, they were very friendly and hospitable.
