First of all the host and his cutie dog were so welcoming and kind to us. The apartment is even better in person (photos do not do justice), and the views are just breathtaking.

The location is perfect! It is just at the lake, when you open your eyes in the morning you can see the lake and mountains around. There is a path to the lake, so in 2 minutes you can be on a beach. Though it is not too much a beachy places, but still nice to sit there. There is a balcony, a small kitchenette. Nice green area around. No problem with parking a car. There are bicycles amd SUPs for rent from the owner. It is a bit to a shop or a restaurant, but if you have a car you will get there in few minutes. The owner is a very nice and helpful guy.

Two minor things that may or may not be relevant to someone else: 1. The house is built into a hill so the back part - the toilet/bathroom - is dug into the ground. We felt a faint moist odour. It probably can't be helped, someone may not even feel it and if you do, it may not bother you. You probably won't care. 2. More of an accident: we had short digestive problems which were *probably* caused by the cooking oil that was in the kitchen so this is a public invitation to the owner to check it and replace if necessary.

A stunning place. Essentially a small bungalow/studio with the wooden/glass wall looking at the lake. On the first night I had one of the best sleeps in my life (probably because we came from hot Skopje, but still). Fresh air, a 1400 metre altitude lake... Since we came home, I've been sharing the morning breakfast-on-terrace photo with all my friends.

The view is breathtaking. Quiet & beautiful location, with access to Mavrovo lake. Great place if you want to explore the surroundings. Apartment is clean, comfortable & well equipped. The hosts were very nice & helpful.

Very spacious, quiet and comfortable room. Very comfortable bed. Really nice location along the lake with a balcony to sit for an afternoon drink. Well equipped kitchen. Good location to visit all areas around the lake, local villages and the National Park. Very friendly host who has kayaks, bikes, SUP’s etc.. available for people who like to keep active.

THERE WAS NO SUCH THING... I DIDNT LIKE ONLY THAT I WAS ABLE TO STAY ONLY FOR 2 DAYS.. I WOULD LIVE THERE FOREVER :D

MAROVO IS A MUST VISIT FOR ALL TOURIST AND LOCALS. I RECOMMEND VILA JANA FOR MANY REASONS.. NICE HOST VLATKO FRIENDLY, CARING & HELPFUL. THE VILA HAS EVERYTHING YOU NEED FOR BASICS KITCHEN, BATHROOM, BEDS. LOCATION CLOSE TO RESTAURANT 5 MIN DRIVE, VIEW IS SPECTACULAR OF LAKE & MOUNTAIN. YOU JUST CANT GET ENOUGH OF THE FRESH AIR, BEST WATER QUALITY FOR DRINKING & AND THE PEACE THE PLACE HAS TO BOOST YOUR POSITIVE ENERGY. THANK YOU VLATKO, WE WILL BE COMING AGAIN SOON!

There wasn't anything that we didn't like.

Our stay was really pleasant. The vila has the best view in Mavrovo and it has really good location. Super quiet throughout the whole day, complete privacy. Will definitely visit again.

Our host Vladimir was very nice and helpful. He helped us a lot with our mountain hike, since he told us the best hiking trails and explained how to find them. Also, he had kayaks and SUPs at the place, and even brought them to the lake for us. The view from the villa was amazing, it is very nice waking up in front of such a view. We will come back with friends next time. Thank you, Vladko!

Nice location, within a minute walking on the lake. Big advantage is that there are kayaks, sups, boats and bicicles to explore the lake and area. Plenty to do around in a beautiful and calm environment. Very friendly and informative owner. Good studios with views. Good beds and wifi. We recommend this place.

No shampoo and soap in the bathroom so don’t forget to bring your own.

The lake view from the balcony is very good. There are all equipments available for the watersports, SUP is very enjoyable. Vlatko is a great host, he helped us to fix our car and gave good recommendations about restaurants and surroundings.
