It was one of the most neat and clean places that I have ever stayed. However, most importantly, the host was extremely helpful. She helped me arranging my transportation eventho she did not need to. Thank you for everything!

Nice room, central location just inside the old town. Very nice view over the lake and town. The cleaning was spotless. We had the room without balcony, but there were some rooms with that as well. Ok space for two persons.

Nothing that could really detract from our excellent experience, but the internet in our room was quite spotty. We lost connectivity frequently. Also, don't try to drive behind the city walls for your own good. We learnt this the hard way. It'd be great if the host updates the check-in instructions so people are aware that they best park and meet her outside the walls.

An absolutely lovely little family hotel at the top of the old town in Ohrid, near the fortress gates. This place is spotless. It is newly decorated to a high standard and feels like brand new and fresh, despite being located in a traditional house. My friend and I booked a triple room for the two of us and we definitely had plenty of space and comfort. Sleeping with an open balcony door in a rather cool 19C late summer night was one of the most refreshing experiences in my recent memory. Also, the host offered us free parking space outside the city walls, which is an excellent benefit in a cramped place like Ohrid.

Staff are incredible. I was met at the bus terminal, transported to the accommodation and very warmly welcomed. My request for a lower level apartment was met, and staff were easily contactable online and responded quickly to any requests.

It wasn’t a huge problem, but the wifi drops out every now and then

Everything was perfect! I moved from a horrible noisy apartment (not at Villa Srma) and booked a room at Villa Srma very last minute, at 11pm the night before and the team at Villa Srma were so understanding and accommodating. The room was comfortable, cosy and quiet. It is so peaceful and the location is perfect! It is easy to get to Samuel’s Fortress and Plaoshnik and the old town is a short walk away. It is just far enough out of the way that it is peaceful and has lovely views of the lake. Toiletries, coffees and sweets were provided in the room which was a lovely touch and the staff, especially Emma were always on hand if needed. I will return here when I come back to Lake Ohrid.
