The orientation of the apartment in April meant you didn't get a lot of direct sunlight in the front or the back on the balcony and patio. The acoustics were OK but not foolproof

If I really have to mention something: be careful with the carpets in the living room and bathroom, because of the tiled floor they are a but slippery. For the rest, just very close to perfection!

I normally don't give 10s because there is always some (or a lot) of room for improvement, either in the check-in process or accommodation. But I'm at a total loss this time because everything was just perfect. And I know why, because host Anthony is just a perfectionist (in a positive way). You can tell in the way he instructs you to leave the dirty dishes for him to deal with because 'he wants to have it done the right way'. In this apartment, you won't find stained glasses hastily cleaned up by previous guests (or hired third-party cleaners) that have so often disappointed me in the past. In this day and age of locker boxes next to front doors, it was a delight to really meet Anthony, who came over from a town a bit further away to personally welcome us and explain the apartment's details. He also asked about how we liked to spend our time and gave us targeted advice, which resulted in two excellent days in and around Mellieha. Then, the apartment: it just has everything you need. Clean, complete, working properly and with an eye for detail (the cinnamon smell in the toilet was so good I considered staying there for two nights). I have not stayed in any better place during our trip to Malta and Gozo, and it is right up there in my top 10 (maybe even 5) of all my accommodations arranged through Booking. It's one of those places that have you thinking, 'You know, I could live here'... So, enormous thanks to Anthony for his excellent service and eye for detail. I'm sure he will continue to delight many more of his customers.

It was the best apartment and host ever! Appartment very good equipped like at home with huge comfort and very very clean. Host was very professional, friendly and helpful. Apartment with a spacious living room (with a balcony with the sea view) and a well-equipped kitchen. Bathroom -like in spa- all necessary cosmetics, spacious shower. Spare towels replaced by the host after 3 days. Beautiful fluffy bathrobes and slippers. From the bedroom access to a private patio. Short distance to stops, shops, cafes and many restaurants. Apartment in a quiet, safe location. From Mellieha, close to the ferry to Gozo, to the beautiful beach Ghajn Tuffieha. Very good connection with Valletta and other cities.

Nothing at all, everything was perfect!

The host came to meet us at the property to explain everything in the apartment. Since most of the appliances are European it was very helpful to a Canadian visiting! Everything you could possibly need for your stay, Tony has such as a beach umbrellas, containers for food, a cooler, beach towels, water in the fridge, and much more. He also had a lot of recommendations of things to do in the area and rest of Malta.

The apartment is out of the centre of Town. If you have not a car, it could be a problem but for me not.

Beautiful apartment, which has absolutely everything for a comfortable stay!!! The apartment is spacious and very clean. The apartment has all the kitchen appliances such as dishwasher, toaster, kettle, microwave, oven, capsule coffee machine + capsules for it, there are all the necessary small things like tea, sugar, salt, oil, which makes it very easy to eat in the apartment), then there is a washing machine and dryer (capsules in the apartment also took care of). For every day we had clean towels, bathrobes, slippers. Everything works properly ) In the bathroom there are all you need - shampoos, shower gels, shower caps, cotton swabs. There are also towels for the beach, for which an extra thank you) We had no problems with check in and the keys were in the box but then Anthony came and personally told us everything again, a lovely and kind man. I would not hesitate and would choose this apartment again! Great service and approach to people, i wish you nothing but the best tourists!

Had a wonderful stay at White Sands! Modern, comfortable apartment equiped with everything you could possibly need - a real home away from home. The owner, Anthony, is a true gentleman. He met me for check in & showed me around the apartment, provided maps of the surrounding Mellieha area, Gozo island etc, and offered great tips for what to see and do during my stay. There was great communication from Anthony via text message during my trip, he was very promt answering any queries I had. Thank you so much Anthony for an amazing stay, I hope to return again!

There is absolutely NOTHING we did not like!

White Sands totally exceeded our expectation. The apartment is brand new, very nicely furnished, exceptionally clean, very roomy and light, with a lot of outdoor space, fully equipped and the host Anthony paid attention to every little detail, including nice and fluffy bathrobes and slippers. Anthony, as a host, goes beyond his duties. He is a fount of wisdom about anything Malta, especially the history. The location is excellent for people who do want the hustle and bustle, apartment is located on a quiet street but just the two short blocks to the main street with shops and restaurant. And the view! Living room has a large balcony with the views of the Sanctuary and Gozo.
