- there is a reception at the residence but there is never anybody there. Discussions have to be done sometimes with the cleaning lady or via whatsapp/booking.com etc. Which is a bit annoying when you are in a hurry and want only to speak to one person and sort things out quickly - in the room I had booked, there is was no hot water for 2 days, the stove wasn't initially working, the wifi coverage was very poor. After complaining to the staff they nicely gave me another room which was better - the fridge makes noise at night and the springs of the bed make the sleep uncomfortable. - the street would wake up early in the morning so it adds up to the noise. Personally, I am used to sleep with ear plugs, so this hasn't disturbed me that much

- Super clean (hats off to the cleaning lady) - Great location - near the beach, restaurants, Super U, the bus stop and even near a dive center - the staff was helpful - the apartments are comfortable and spacious Overall good experience, I would recommend it

Traffic is an issue and alsp a bloke practicing his electric guitar on the balcony every day across the street. Local beach is close but better beaches is a bit far.

Really nice staff even though not much English was spoken. Good size room and very reasonable price. Conveniently located close to Super U shopping mall.

The facilities and apartments need TLC and upgrades such as new furniture (the couch was broken, aircons didn't work, kettle didn't work, some lights didn't work). The furniture and fittings and overall accommodation is outdated and old - could use a refurnishing and needs some work. The cutlery and plates and cups were all dirty and old. Mirrors in the bedrooms would be convenient for when getting dressed - there was a mirror in the lounge but not in the bedrooms.

Has an amazing location - walking distance to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Was clean upon arrival and neat. Simplistic and cosy stay - has everything you need.

The personnel are very friendly and helpful. Nice place, very well situated. 5 mins walk to the beach, restaurants, sea activities. I liked my stay. Will definitely go there for the price.

- On Booking.com it is mentioned Free wifi but did not get wifi at all not any codes provided. - the mattress / or bed could be changed as it wss not so comfortable and was making sound when moving when trying to sleep.

- Close to amenities like Super u and restaurants around - Early check-in request possible - Friendly and courteous maid.

DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY. When I booked the room, the property was listed as having aircon, wifi, and the option of having 2 single beds or one double bed. I picked the 2 single beds option and received a confirmation message saying that this option had been accepted and also, specifically, at no extra charge. When we arrived and paid (only cash was accepted) however, we were met with a shabby room, an old double bed, a mattress on the floor (the "sofa bed" option maybe), and no aircon. When I queried this with the manager/ owner, she was extremely rude and demanded extra money for each "extra" option- i.e for aircon & single bed, which as per the booking.com description, should have been included in the booking. I said I was happy to leave but she refused to refund our money and we were forced to stay there overnight as we had no other option. In addition, we discovered that the wifi was so slow as to be unusable, the window in the bedroom could not be closed and was letting in constant cooking/ frying smells from the fast food/ restaurant next door (as well as mosquitoes), there were dustballs on the floor, and the "balcony" gave onto the back of the shopping centre next door (so was pretty much unusable). We left as early as we could the next day. After we left, the owner/ manager cancelled my booking so that I would not be able to leave a review.

We did not get the appartment we had paid for and instead got a studio. The studio was smaller and for only 3 persons while we were a group of 4 persons. The staff was very rude and not willing to help at all.

It's close to the street where it gets noisy during the evening/night. But that's the price for the location in Grand Baie.

the aircon is optional! you have to pay 800Rs per night upon request!

it is closer to SuperU and many other restaurants and shops!if you preferred walking to La Croisette, it would take more or less 15-20minutes! Since we have a 3 year-old baby, our request for a separate bed was accommodated! Very considerate of the host!

The place is safe and well situated for me to move around in the north.

Some lights were not working. The remote of the AC was missing. No blanket was provided. The fridge door was broken, so we couldn't store our things. The toilet seat is unstable. Windows don't lock. The curtains are thin.

Yes I had a nice time there Nice location close to Super U big Store and another restaurant local street food close . I spend 17 days on this apartment and I was happy 😃 and i will come back wlan is slow but hope one day will be fixed 👍🏾👍🏾🤲🏾Namaste🕉🤲🏾I’m Brazilian i love maurituis 💋🍀
