Everyhing was really nice, almost like new. Really clean. It is excatly like on photos. Highly recommended.

1) The wooden finishing of the complex, like outside terrace near the lounge and pool area. Perhaps the syndic could arrange it to be better maintained (i.e. painted). :-) 2) The noise inside the apartment (in our case coming from the downstairs garage and upstairs neighbour), simply because of the fact that inside the bathroom there is a technical area containing the necessary pipes behind a wooden door (read: a 50cm x 50cm OPEN hole, i.e. if you look down through the hole you see the garage and hear the people talk). But then again, it was also funny hearing our upstairs neighbour in the morning recovering from his hangover(?) :-) If this could be addressed by applying some noise reduction isolation, that would be great. I can imagine this issue applies to all One Bay apt, but could be wrong.

The apt layout, kitchen utensils. Also nice that there is a washing machine. Although the Wi-Fi was OK, it just did not reach the front pool area, which was a pity. A very big plus for Apt. 3 is that you don't have to pay Cash (i.e. booking.com is handling the card payment which was great). @all: Please check the house rules whenever you book an Apt at "One Bay", as some owners will only accept cash (i.e. in my mind as weird as it is inconvenient). Overall: our Apt. owner very responsive, providing super fast resolutions for any queries during our stay, which was very much appreciated.

Nothing to dislike

Beautiful, modern and comfortable apartment in the perfect location. Only a few minutes away from the beach, the shop, bus stop. The apartment was cleaned nearly every day. Fully equipped with everything you needed. The owner of the apartment was very helpful. Even when we had bad weather, he was sending us messages if we are OK:).

We liked nearly everything. It's just that the apartment was a bit expensive but then we used it only for 2 persons. If you come with a whole family then the cost is justified. Also we got an apartment on the ground floor so you had to close the blinds on the terrace otherwise you are clearly visible in your living room to those who leave the building.

It is a really upscale apartment and it's highly recommended. The location is great as it's within walking distance to the beach, a supermarket and a bus stop. What is really great is its size and the fact that it is brand new. So everything works as it should. Both bedrooms have their own en-suite bathrooms which is really convenient. The kitchen/ living room is spacious and is equipped with everything you need for a few day stay. The cleaning lady came everyday even though it wasn't really necessary but it's a nice touch. There is also a nice swimming pool but we didn't use it as it was a bit too cold. What's more we messaged the property and got a very good recommendation of a local driver who we then asked for a few drives on the island. All in all this property is recommended despite it's rather steep price.

The host was proactive and sent the information well in advance on how to get into the apartment. I was quite impressed with the instructions given and how easy it was to get into the apartment. The apartment was spacious and spotless. I liked the fact that it was cleaned everyday! The beach is close by and the shops and restaurants are not too far. A car would be ideal and there is ample parking too.

The location is excellent, short walking distance to the Pereybere beach, supermarket or the good restaurants. the apartment is very clean every day thanks to the free daily cleaning service, feels like living in a hotel suite. the rooms are very quiet and we all slept very well during our vacation. Jacuzzi and swimming pool are also very nice and being well maintained every day.

I would improve the cleanliness (like doors, floor,..) and remove the rattan carpet as it was smelly (could be just very subjective as I dont like this smell.)

a few days before arrival, the host sent us all the info about the apartment. It is a brand new building, opened in Oct 2021. Three levels, with underground parking and guard all day to check people entering. We were in apt nr 3 on ground floor, approx 100square m , with 2 queen bed bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large living room with kitchen, front patio with sofa and chairs, back balcony with Jacuzzi. The apartment is complete with everything, really everything, if you wish they come to clean every day, it is enough to confirm it to the host by whatsapp, and they can change towels and linen every 3 days. Wifi is available. Upon arrival we had also some snacks, water, tea and coffee for free as welcome amenities. The complex has a swimming pool with salted water as well, not big but enough considering that you go there for the beaches!! the supermarket is 50m far, as well as pharmacy in case of need. Pereybere beach is 100m distance as well as some restaurants, or otherwise Grand Baie for more restaurants can be reached in 5 min drive. If you do not have the car, in Pereybere there is a taxi station. The apartment is very well decorated with European taste, I really could not expect more for the money we paid. Coffee machines, dish washer, washing and drying machine, air conditioning......really everything!!!!!!

The property was new clean and so lovely ! there was so much at our disposal and we were given little necessities like toothpaste and toothbrushes. they even made a whole traditional bouquet to welcome us. we are definitely coming back to this exact place. also to top it off the beds were extremely comfy and we had access to our personal jacuzzi

I lost a few items I took to gift my family. I had them in a bag kept in the lounge and terrace. I saw them in the morning when I got up however midday when I was looking for the missing items. I reported the issue to the host however she made me feel bad by saying I was accusing the cleaner. I never told her I suspected the cleaner or the cleaner had taken the items. The items contained branded perfumes, Levi belts, and hand cream. Every time I discussed a concern with the host she became very defensive. Ultimately, we gave up and started looking forward to our last day at the apartment. The apartment is next to other apartments. You can hear people talking, kids crying, people walking upstairs, door banging next door. The walls were not soundproof. When I lifted the cushion from the dining chair, I saw bread crumbs, dust and biscuits sitting under the cushion. When I took a cereal bowl from the cupboard, I was surprised to see a food stain on the bowl. I was given a washing-up sponge which was used. The towels were torn. The cupboards were full of dust. The headboard of the bed was full of dust Black Mold around the shower tray and water The seals from the shower door were damaged and full of mold. Water was dripping out of the shower. The shower drain was blocked which the host was aware of. On one occasion there was no electricity. We had to use our torch light to use the en-suite for personal care. When we informed the Host, she told us that people had stayed here during the cyclone without electricity and had not made a complaint. She left us feeling bad that we were reporting these concerns. The generator would only support the fridge and microwave and no other areas. The air conditioning system was leaking. Water was on the floor and luckily I saw it and put a towel otherwise triggering a high risk of falls and injuries. When we informed the Host she said to put a bucket under the AC where it was leaking.

Breakfast was not provided. The location was good, walking distance to the beach and other amenities.
