Everything was perfect we enjoyed all and everyday there was different activities to experience. I would like to give special thanks to Mr. Susil from Madi restaurant he was very helpful and professional. We will definitely visit again but this time we will book more than 7 days it’s really not enough time to explore all. Our water bungalow was amazing view the housekeeper was very friendly and professional.

The La-A-Carte restaurant was average with the food. I was expecting higher grade flavors. The cheese platter alone was embarrassing to be served for $20US very small serving.

Accommodation was really lovely and great how the water villas were set out. Very private. The staff were great also. Buffet food was awesome.

Unfortunately the food isn’t great at all I’m sad to say. It was an effort to go to b/l/d everyday and eat the bland long life food. Shame because you can see the staff all working so hard to cook for everyone.

The staff are so warm and friendly. It’s a small island so you get to see other guests around and chat. Premium spirits served (if that’s your thing) and amazing shark feed everyday to watch.

Amazing everything! Staffs were so professional, everyone! The massage were the best! The diving very profeasional! the cleaning speech less..I recoment this hotel, for sure if am ai alive I will be back next year and as a Travel agent I will continue selling it to my customers!! Should have flown rather than taken the 90 minute speedboat. It was a little too rough coming back. The pool is very refreshing but not quite deep enough to have a good swim.

The best thing about Ellaidhoo was the reef around the island - superb reef with thousands of magnificent species of fish. The room we had with a verandah shaded by trees, lounge beds as well as chairs was great. Banal our house manager did a superb job of looking after us every day. The bed was super comfy. Loved the outdoor bathroom! Food at the buffet restaurant was great with an unending suoply of choices - great service from all staff. The a la carte restaurant was also good. We loved the fact that this resort is doing as much as possible to "green" the resort and is being very public and vocal about it. Also enjoyed the "back of the resort" tour - extremely informative - the biologist's presentation on fish at the resort; the manager's presentation on the background to the resort; and the wonderful island vegetation.

The beach protection blocks, alas necessary, take away from the beauty of the beach that ends in the sea. Nothing can be done, these blocks are necessary to ensure that the rising sea levels do not erode the island away... too quickly.

We are repeating visitors, and we go for the underwater scenery and diving. The place is particularly well suited to divers who want to experience the marvels of Maldives, divers of all level, from the very conveniently located and beautiful house reef, to the full-day excursions dedicated to manta's and whale sharks

The friendly staff, incredible reef life, green credentials, food variety, small resort, beautiful rooms, it was all excellent. We were delighted with our choice after a lot of research into possible resorts. We loved the welcome talk and tour of the back of house set up. Great cocktails and entertainment.

After being on the go for 24hrs we arrived at Male airport. It was another 4:5hrs until we bordered the float plane. This was far too long a wait. To make it worse the sea plane terminal has a coffee lounge with free coffee and snacks. We were asked to leave as Ellaidhoo do not pay for the lounge. We were the only people out of about 150 not allowed in. The white wine at the evening buffet and bar was only ever room temperature. Always nicely chilled at the A La Cart restaurant though.

Breakfast is buffet and was very nice. The A La Cart restaurant was excellent. The room was lovely and a big thank you to our cleaner Bilal. Lovely happy guy that always cleaned our room to a high standard.

1. Around cement dame broken sea view, but they have to do that. 2. Only complain for staff is snorkeling person, not friendly and professional.

Cleaning twice a day, perfect view, snorkeling area very nice , you can see many beautiful fish. Food and drink is average.

Very minor remarks: - on the main restaurant, there were tables by the beach, but we were only permited to use them only for breakfast - island is about 70km from Male airport, and speed boat transfer is OK (about 1 hour) if the sea is calm, but when sea is stormy, experiance is not very pleasent. If stormy, they must use hydro plane.

-Small and compact island resort -All is very clean and you walk everyhere barefoot -Food is magical - pure gourmet in the AlaCarte restaurant - AllInclusive alchohol is also very good - white wine and cocktails were the best - best diving and shnorkeling experience i have ever had - the reef is very close and there are thousands of fish, including sharks and dolphins - there is a diving centre on the island - we were upgraded free of charge with beach villa for the first 2 days

No access into the lagoon from water villas as they’re situated over a shallow and tidal part of the water. At times, my water villa actually had no water underneath it and just rocks because of the tide. Fine if you’re aware what you’re signing up for. Halfway through my stay, they changed the restaurant where water villa guests ate breakfast/could access snacks in the afternoon and moved it to a restaurant on the other side of the island, which meant a longer walk in the morning and wasn’t as convenient for afternoon snacks if you were using the pool. The all-inclusive cocktail list is long but many classic/popular cocktails aren’t actually on there and you have to pay extra or upgrade to premium all inclusive. I happily paid 10 USD extra for a piña colada as they were very nice!

Beautiful house reef and excellent snorkelling. Lovely room amenities and gorgeous outdoor bathroom. Nice pool area and stunning island to walk around - it felt like I’d landed in paradise. Staff go above and beyond. Special mentions for Raishan and Osanda in the restaurant near the water villas, who always gave service with a smile. Food is nice and varied. I experienced buffet and a la carte dining. The Dive & Sail centre is great and, although I don’t dive, I went night snorkelling twice which was such a cool experience (they do this nightly depending if enough guests sign up) and went on an amazing manta ray snorkelling excursion where we found lots of mantas and got to swim above them while they did backflips right underneath us in the water - it was so special! The spa is very relaxing and I liked that they had happy hour deals between 1-4pm. I went a few times (as I had bad weather and couldn’t snorkel or do excursions) and the purity facial was a highlight.

We had all inclusive for the whole stay, but on some days it was hard to find a main course “solution” because all the options included pork, and as a non pork eater this wasn’t ideal. But other than that, we had an amazing stay.

The staff were super friendly and the atmosphere fantastic. Our water villa was perfect Gym has everything you need for “holiday training”. The spa and their massages were addictive. Snorkelling is unbelievable beautiful and you are going to spend enormous amounts of time in the water. The island itself is amazing and so was our honeymoon stay. Can’t wait to come back!!!!

Due to maintenance work being done in front of our bungalow we havent had privacy which we expected. Due to this we spent most of our time wondering around the island,exploring diferent snorkeling spots. And also besause of beautiful coral reef around island and fishes resort cold make better signs about protection corals.

Roms are clean and comfortable. Bathroom was big and nice Coral reef and underwather world was amasing.

Shower water pressure was weak. Not sure if that is the issue with all resorts, because of the island locations and lack of fresh water for showers. Also, the water bungalow does not have direct stairs to the sea to be able to swim from the bungalow, because of their location on the reef. As I was diving it did not really matter to me, but for those people who do not dive and want to jump straight to water from the bungalow balcony it is not possible.

The house reef and snorkeling at the house reef was amazing. Would like to point out professionalism and amazing diving center staff as well as restaurant staff and cooks. Food was of high standard with wide choice. NY dinner was too much good food. Will definitely come back.

The only issue I had was that on our first night we were put in a beach bungalow and then on the second day we were to transfer to our Superior room. Upon checking out, and switching key cards at the reception, we waited for our bags for half an hour and no one brought them. I decided to walk back to our old room and bring the bags by myself. The resort should organise booking of rooms / transfer of luggage better.

The staff were amazing! Ameer at the reception was great at getting us checked in and took us to our room. Ramiz our houseman was very helpful in making sure our room was clean and that we had everything we needed. Hammu, Sushil and Piyali were great the dining Hall. Chandana, Dilhan, Madawa and others were always serving drinks with a smile, a joke or recommendations about what to do while at the resort. The ladies at the Spa; Inten, Surat and Santi were all lovely, very pleasant.
