I wasn't crazy about the power outages and the fact that everything is open and not air conditioned. Trying to eat your meals while sweating is not what I call fun. Also, I wasn't a fan of the vendors that set up to sell items every night. They were like vultures!

Loved the beach and pools. They offered dance and zumba classes, scuba lessons, etc. I highly recommend going on a snorkeling trip. We saw some really amazing marine life. Overall, it was a good experience and the kids loved it!

Food is marginal except for the Japanese specialty restaurant. Been waiting for the food to improve since 1998. If they rebuild parts of the property that burned in a fire they need to build two additional restaurants that are good!!

Not a place to rest. There is always some loud music or entertainment in the pool and beach area. Come to this placenif you want sunset to be spoiled by loud uncultured music.

As a family of five, we were very happy to have adjoining rooms and to be close to the water park. Our children loved playing in the water park; then, swimming in the pools and finally, visiting the beach.

The “cash only” upgrade to premium was a scam. No reason to upgrade to premium level but the receptionist made us believe we would not get access to the beach or to the pools if we did not give her a large sum of cash at check in.

Loved the relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff. Everyone had a smile on their face when talking to them. The grounds, the rooms and the pools were all kept very clean. Plenty of food options and drinks were always available. The tour guys in the lobby were very helpful as well. HIGHLY recommend using the car/scooter rental shop across the street from this resort.

I have been coming here for years, and the hotel went above and beyond for my short trip. It was my sons birthday wish to be at Allegro. He has special needs, and they went above and beyond for him, and all staff are amazing.

Traveled to 113 countries in world,in Cozumel I stayed 1 month to test 5 different hotels as part of extended reviews on Islands to test everything.This was shockingly really bad experience & I had to leave earlier even I lost my money due to no-refund policy.Main reason was infestations in rooms. I've been in 4 different rooms during my stay & all rooms were badly maintained.Food was very poor quality where I understand that is the key how to safe money for hotel on customers.I do understand hotel is in"tropical part of island"but I stayed in another 4 near by resorts with similar concept & non of them had below issues described: -Bed bugs,spiders all kind of sizes and mites inside of bed mattresses falling from room roof,I lost so many hours to search & kill stuff, but it was impossible to sleep & was scary.Due to bed bugs I had to throw away majority of my stuff from suitcase & suitcase itself after my return to avoid infestation of my own house after my return -Main door have big gaps that allow cockroaches & ants coming to your room incl.noise from outside-pool,cleaning cars,night show,kids at pool -Window net in shower wasn't holding properly which was reason for more bugs to come in,mold in AC -Food all days same,very poor quality,chewy cuts,flies sitting on offered food,poor selection -Restaurant for buffet breakfast & dinner is almost impossible to eat at.

I came here for 7 days and had to prolong by additional 3 days due to work issues. The only think that was good in this hotel were employees at reception, bars and restaurants. Only food I liked was at oriental restaurant you have to book in advance for 1 night only and breakfast but it was all days same and repetitive. Beach is very big and you will never have problem to find your bed to put the towel on. Please read review why I didn't like the resort it was my worst vacation stay ever and my whole stay was ruined due to bed bugs (lost stuff that I had to throw away after my return)

Rooms are unbelievably small. Beds are twin size. Tiny TV. Tiny bathroom. Cracks in the doors and windows. Good could be better.

Coffee machine make good cappuccino! Water park for the kids is great. Kids animators are great. Drinks are like in most all inclusives not too great too much sugar and a splash of alcohol. Pools and water in the pools look clean. Beach area is good!

The food it could be much better, they did not had any fresh juice. The salad bar at the Italian restaurant was very poor, the Japanese restaurant was not what I expected. The buffet for lunch and dinner could be much better. The first room had a very bad smell and it had problems with the the water. We complain about it and they send someone to check it out and he could not solve the problem so we went again to complain about it and the lady at the front desk ask me even if I honestly didn’t like the room. I was very surprised about her question because I ask earlier if the hotel was full for curiosity and they said that it was around 65% full, so changing us to another room I don’t think should be a problem when this was happening the first night and we were going to stay 5 nights. The other room was better but I am not going to stay here again.

Needed fans are a/c Italian and oriental restaurants. And the workers the were cooking over the hot griddles for breakfast and the ones at the oriental restaurant and the one in buffet in the back. Need some kind of fan. To help the keep cool While they are cooking. The poor work looked miserable. But still doing the awesome job.

They whole resort was awesome. And the entertainment team especially Jonny and David. They kept the vibe going the whole time.
