Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaWe loved everything! Some may not like the tv away from their bed but we didn’t mind it.
The property is so beautiful! We took many beautiful pictures on the property. It’s also extremely close to all the bars and food vendors. We walked a lot during our stay and enjoyed it. You can also take an Uber. 5-10 min from just about everything as far as gift shops, dock, food, drinks, and etc.

United States of America1) Wish that there was no tall building being built to block some of the beautiful view! Glad there were still some pretty viewpoints to enjoy. 2) Loved the hot tub, but wish the temperature could get truly hot not just warm!
Loved how peaceful it was! Such a quiet refresh after our daily excursions. The landscaping and terraces make the place so charming. We appreciated how remarkably well taken care of we were. Everyone who worked there was so kind and helpful, and went above and beyond for making sure we enjoyed our visit. The recommendations for local restaurants were great, and we agree with the them on the one for best brunch in town! Having the pool area there was great, the large filtered water jugs provided were so convenient, and loved being able to store and reheat leftovers and also cook our own breakfasts with the small kitchen area! The place was spacious, and always came back at end of day to it cleaned, well stocked, and even our dirty dishes washed.

United States of AmericaProblem with the air conditioner in my guest room's living room which I mentioned to the owner on the final day of my visit. I was too busy to mention it earlier. I am sure he fixed the problem (the unit displayed an error code) before the room was rented again.
Great view of the town and within a 15-minute walk to several restaurants. English and Spanish spoken fluently by the head concierge!

CanadaWe had some difficulty with the adjoining restaurant which we’re still trying to resolve. It would have been lovely to open the bathroom window — but not a big deal and we didn’t get a chance to ask staff for help . . . so no real complaint.
A terrific and unusual location and facility. Everything we needed in our room. Lovely and clean. Quiet and relaxing. Fabulously accommodating staff. I would return without hesitation.

The room was so spacious and immaculate! The kitchen had everything you needed. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub one afternoon after adventuring in Cabo. Castillo Blarney is close enough to town to do any kind of tour (we did sky diving and sea kayaking to the arch) but also out of the cruise ship zone. It's about a 5 dollar Uber to the touristy areas. We had a car but opted for uber in the afternoon so we could hit up baja brewing for sunset. There are amazing taco spots just down the hill as well as a convenience store. The sushi nearby was amazing as well! They are walkable but be aware, it's pretty steep. Overall, we loved wandering the grounds at Blarney, finding all the gnomes and shamrocks, and enjoying the wonderful rooms. Last note: the beds are divine. 10/10 place

AustraliaThis place is great.. located atop the hill, overlooking the bay and away from the hustle and bustle makes this a real delight. The walk into town is a little long but worth the experience as you get to see more of the outskirts of town. Irma was a super lovely host, with great recommendations for local restaurant options and experiences. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and clean!

United States of AmericaI would say the walls are so thin that you easily hear your neighbors. Our room was on the ground floor and there wasn’t a lot of natural light entering si you have to put the lights on most of the time.
The hotel has a great view over the city and is at walkable distance to center (20min). The staff is nice, the room was huge with a king size bed. I really liked the fact that there’s water fountains in the room. The swimming pool is heated, which is great for February month. We had a terrasse with a table and chairs and so had lunch and breakfast there. The WiFi was really fast too. As it was Valentine’s Day they gave us some cute biscuits in a heart shape!

United States of AmericaFor us, everything was good. For others, it is not as easy to get to, you need a car, walking back from town is uphill which might not work for some. It's very quiet so if you like action, this isn't the place for you. If you like the typical resort experience, this is not it. This is a one-off place with its own personality.
One of the original hotels built by an Irishman, what's not to love?! We loved the view, the large room, the comfortable bed, the great shower, the kitchen, the deck, the cleanliness, the peace and quiet, the uniqueness, the fact that it's off the beaten path but still walkable. The staff was great: welcoming and professional. The price is right too!

United States of AmericaDo not stay here if you do not have a car. It is up a hill and not an easy walk to the main areas. I put my suitcase opened under the air conditioning unit. It dripped all night and it was literally full of water in the morning. No damage, just wet. I am glad all the electronics were out! I almost had my Macbook there!. There are no shear curtains. As we were at pool level, anyone in or around the pool could look into our room unless the blackout curtains were in place. The pool level rooms need shear curtains. Also, the kitchen had no pairing knife, just one huge carving knife. Not easy to peel mangos with a big dull knife. There was only 1 fork, 2 spoons, and a few butter knives. Limited cookware and dishes. These are an easy fix for the establishment. Careful on the stones if you feet are wet. VERY slippery.
The room had the feel as if I owned a small condo unit. I loved the kitchen, small property feel, and pool. The staff are amazing. I like the fact that the facility was a bit away from the hustle and bustle of the city....of course that means you have to drive and find parking if you want to go out.

United States of AmericaLocation is decent but not right on the beach, which has its pros and cons. The hotel isn't really in a walkable neighborhood, however, you're away from the hustle and bustle and it's very quiet. There is also a great hike right behind the hotel with an amazing 360 degree lookout over Cabo and a nice view from the rooms.
The room was perfectly appointed with a very comfortable bed, full kitchen, drinking water, and a gorgeous view of the ocean. We loved walking around the beautiful grounds which are incredibly crafted and landscaped. We also enjoyed eating at the restaurant Luna Italiana-- best meal we had during our time in Cabo and the view is spectacular and service was perfect. The staff was all lovely and very welcoming and helpful.

United States of AmericaThe only thing that I could possibly list as a negative is walking up the hill lol. But there are many Ubers and car services available. Plus- it’s worth it for the view.
The property was beautiful! Lots of pretty touches done with the landscaping. Stunning views. The location was perfect. 4 min into town but far enough away that you enjoy peace and quiet. It’s a very serene side of Cabo.

Puerto RicoQuiet hotel with excellent uber friendly location. The staff was great and the pool area was nice. The room was big with a surprisingly huge kitchen and living room. Our balcony was just steps from the pool and hot tub. There's a BBQ area as well. Perfect for couples in need of peace away from small screaming children. Perfect site for a big family occasion. I must say that the restaurant was exceptional as well.
