We would like to have a mini fridge in the room. However, they provided purified water in the area right outside of the room. There are also multiple stores very close by that sell cold drinks.

The room we had was a corner room with a double balcony. The view over the river was great. The lobby and the rooftop were both beautiful. The building is a very classic/old style that has a lot of tile and color. We enjoyed watching the birds and iguanas below us while we swam in the pool!

The staff were incredibly accommodating! At first we were put in a room with no window facing inside. The window was just a piece of wood with a bathroom stall latch for a lock. We asked if we could possibly have a room with a window. Without charging anything extra they moved us to a room with a balcony and a view of the river and partial view of the ocean. The layout of the room also gave us much more privacy when using the toilet and shower. We would have been fine in the first room but the second room made the stay more comfortable and we actually enjoyed being in the room.

Not allowed to bring friend to have a beer on my balcony. Friend could only visit in lobby. Noise from traffic started early in morning (7:30 a.m.) and also noisy at night, however, I was hardly in room so didn't matter too much. TV remote did not work. No wifi in room and the wifi in lobby was slow so could not download Netflix movies.

Location was very good - close to beach, restaurants, OXXO, bus, banks, etc. Pool was very cool (not heated) - had to get used to that. Room was nice with wrap around balcony. Shower had hot water all the time. Very nice room attendants. Liked having purified water available in jug on my floor but was not cold.

Downstairs restaurant was good, but not as good as the upstairs one. PV is very humid. Nothing much you can do about that! The free coffee is kinda bad.

Great rooftop area with small pool. Fantastic views from the rooftop pool area and adjacent restaurant. Great deals for happy hour and tasty food in the upstairs restaurant. Authentic Mexican feel.

My room didn't have a window but the air conditioner worked well and it was cheap so I didn't really mind that much.

Great location, it's an old-school Mexican beach hotel with all the noise that comes with it. I love the place but definitely bring your earplugs. The showerhead exceptional pressure which I love. The bed was soft and the mattress was high-quality which was a nice surprise.

We only had a single room key - metal key, not a keycard. Thin walls, I would recommend bringing earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

Rooftop pool and restaurant with a beautiful view of the sunset and Zona Romantica. Wifi worked best in the lobby or up by the pool. Hotel staff was quick to respond to anything we needed, extra towels, tp, etc. It was in the perfect location, easy to get around and a short walk to anywhere we wanted to go and check out! Very affordable, aircon included in your room. *Note that you get what you pay for. The rooms are very basic, but we really enjoyed all of the amenities the hotel and the neighborhood had to offer.

It was rare that anyone spoke English even though it’s a tourist destination. Room cleaning was spotty and I had to ask for the floor to be swept, change towels, etc… When I called the desk to ask them to get people to settle down because it was noisy enough to wake me up the woman said “I can’t hear it.” When I spoke with a couple other people in the morning they were also disturbed by it.

It was bright and airy. Near to downtown for walking.

The room was small but it was all that we needed to settle in each evening. The bed was ok not uncomfortable. The bed needed 4 pillows as opposed to 2 small ones. This is an older hotel so do not expect a resort experience. It had Mexican charm. The towels could have been a bit better quality.

The hotel was clean and the staff were very helpful and they spoke English and Spanish. Location was exceptional as it was close to the markets and 2 blocks from the beach. Air conditioner was very good and quiet. T.v. had many good English channels. The roof top view was beautiful. A very nice sitting area by the pool. They had a small restaurant on the roof top that you could get good food and cold drinks. Happy hour served good drinks from 3-7pm. I loved watching the sunset and the many birds and iguanas sitting in the near by trees from the rooftop. Very peaceful. The hotel provided purified water on each floor so customers could refill their water containers as opposed to buying and using plastic water bottles from the store. Thus reducing the single use plastics. The shower had good warm water and pressure. Our room had a small but cute balcony.

The water was always lukewarm. There weren’t many amenities like coffee pot, microwave or fridge. For a tourist destination the staff were less than helpful, there were several nights where there was partying going on and the desk staff did not deal with it. Communication was often difficult.

It was convenient for walking to downtown, restaurants and buses. The decor was definitely local culture.

Number one is poor internet, only limited available in open areas not in the rooms. Street noise on west side is loud at night, ok with ear plugs.

The decor such lamps, tables, chairs, and pictures need to be updated because one thing is old style and another thing is old and dilapidated. The doors could be changed too; they should be big metal doors that have a new lock like the modern hotels so people can feel even safer staying there. I think this hotel has potential and I would like to see it improve its facilities rather than being neglected.

It is an old fashioned, traditional, Mexican style. It was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was fine. The staff were nice and friendly. The area is very pretty.
